100 score for the beauty of sakura surroundings the place. First time coming and seeing the beautiful flowers is such a lucky moments to our family. Nearby have some street foods smell really good. You should find somewhere hidden to take pictures due to over crowded people there, especially hot season such as Sakura or maple leaf.

Great example of detailed workmanship with immense history and culture. The views from the 8th floor are with the climb up the flights of stairs (there is a lift if needed). You can book when you get there but can get on cheaper using online apps. It was busy but still not overcrowded and had plenty of time to view the artwork, videos, and architecture of this magnificent building.

Book ahead to miss the queue for general admission. It will be busy inside but it’s worth it for the view alone at the top. Inside are some amazing historical pieces of Japanese history. Elevators available.

This is the main castle. The views from the top are amazing. You can just imagine the fortress this was back in the 1500’s. I wonder how it ever got taken over. The museum in side is incredible with all kinds of personal letters from the time. Could have spent all day just here.

I would definitely recommend if you come to Osaka Japan to visit the Osaka Castle. It is so beautiful. The inside on every floor has beautiful art work and information about the castle. There are elevators for people who can walk upstairs too. To visit inside the castle it does cost money but about $6 only. I would give this place a five out of five.

2nd visit and this place still WOW me! Thoughwe can get the tickets online or from any other platform, we still chose to queue to buy a physical ticket to keep as memory! Crowded as uusual even on a weekday. Lots of tour groups and school kids. We took a stroll at the nearby park and rest at the souvenir shop next to the castle. My boy was super fascinated with the samurai suit try-on, with just 500 yen he get to try and a small picture for free. Definitely worth visiting

A historical journey with art work, costumes, stories and display of the castles journey through the ages. Beautiful gardens and of course plenty of vending machines. You can walk up the 8 levels (2 are air conditioned) or catch a lift to level 5 and walk the 3. The views are spectacular, even though they are netted for safety. Toilets are on most Levels. There is 2 small tourist shops in the castle. It was crowded when we went. $6AU. Worth every cent ;0) The building near the castle has many tourist gifts and a cafe, also worth a look!!

Very cute place. Great for people watching and souvenir shopping. Busy, but not overwhelming. The area has great access points and has plenty of space for rest.

Came in a Sunday around 3:30pm during the low season in February and there was no line to buy tickets on the machines which were very easy to use for foreigners. Was very nice and easy to get cool pictures. They have toilets in and outside. There were some floors where you aren’t allowed to take photos and some where you could. We respected the floor where they weren’t allowed. The view is quite nice but careful walking you and down the stairs as it’s quite steep and cramped.

Try to get ticket via Klook to skip the insane Queue. Dont join the line to take the lift as you need to see it floor by floor anyway. Just walk up. Very big garden, takes 1km any side to get out.

Lots of stairs and elevators only go to the fifth floor. Lots of fascinating history and that were, in the words of my 12 year old, 'pretty cool'. Authentic armor and weaponry from the time period, as well as miniature diorama depicting the battles for the castle and control of Japan during the Warring States Era. In short, it's a do not miss for any person with a passing interest in history.

Osaka Castle is a must-see in Osaka! It's a good idea to buy tickets in advance to skip the lines. Inside, the new decoration might make it feel less like an old castle, but it's still worth a visit, even if you don't know much about the Shogun Era or Edo period. The history and views are incredible!

This castle looks like one of those in Japanese Ukiyoe paintings. The entrance fee for visiting the top is fine but the line is rather too long. I enjoyed sitting in front of it and watching it for 30 mins.

Absolutely beautiful. The walk up to the castle was very hilly and tough but it was worth it to see the castle up close, the views from it, and the culture inside the castle walls. Also the gift shop is really cute and a perfect place to get a souvenir!

This is a nice place from outside but the inside has been restored and it is not what you are expecting.

The view from the 8th floor is nice but not the best in town.

It's a climb up the castle and each floor has it's own historic exhibition and explanation. Osaka Castle is a significant piece of history. It's about 7 levels high and you will reach an observation deck for aerial views. There is a small souvenir shop at the highest level but there also a few more at ground level.

You may need to wait in line to climb 7 flights of stairs but it's worth it! JR pass holders can skip the line.

While the castle is super neat, it is really a museum wearing the facade of a castle. The museum is very cool if you are interested in the Tokugawa Shogunate.
