Mon Pigeon is the most wonderful little cake shop that overflows with the warmth of its kind owner, her 2 huge golden retrievers and absolutely scrumptious baked goods. The interior is cozy, warm and welcoming, intently decorated with trinkets, ornaments and pictures of the goldies in every nook and cranny. Definitely coming back here the next time and every time I’m in hakuba. Oh and the custom made pizzas are fantastic! It’s an amazing gem that I’m so grateful to have chanced upon and experienced. It’s a very special place :).

This was such a cute little cafe. It is cash only so keep that in mind! It was super relaxing and the food was delicious. They have English menus too! Can’t wear ski boots inside. Can be a little confusing take away/dine in but the amazing dogs make up for it.

Cakes were nice and we got the drinks+cake set. A little pricey but worth it for the cosy atmosphere with a lot of cute trinkets. Read great things about their pizza but didn’t get to try. Huge plus is hanging out with the 2 golden retrievers!

Very pretty and quaint cafe with 2 very cute golden retrievers and a cat. we ordered the pizza which was yummy and the strawberry cake was very good too. Would definitely recommend to visit this place!

Absolutely delightful Cherry pie! The matcha au lait and make-your-own pizza was delicious too. Bonus: you get to pet 2 giant golden retrievers while enjoying your cakes and coffee.

I was greeted at the door by one of the resident Golden Retrievers, never a warmer welcome. I popped in to see if I could find a birthday cake for a friend, I found that as well as a kind smile, a delicious, warm cafe latte and of course I wasn’t leaving without trying cake #13 a lemon meringue pie (it didn’t disappoint) Luckily the 3km walk back to my accommodation should just about balance out the calories! Probably not, but I shall tell myself it will…🙃

Best Pizza I’ve had in a long time! Crispy base, warm toppings, great service and a very comforting atmosphere - highly recommend!!!

Such a cozy atmosphere. My favorite part about this quaint little bakery are the 2 golden retrievers! They are the sweetest dogs.

I had a salami calzone, their special “Milky Way” cake and a choco au lait. Everything was very tasty.

The decoration of the restaurant is so nice. We ordered a vegan pizza and lemonade. Pizza was super delicious. They also have two huge golden retrievers.

I ordered a birthday cake for my friend’s birthday. The woman taking my order on the phone was patient and kind and able to help me in English.

They did a beautiful job on the cake. 😍 They even provided birthday candles. Such a sweet gesture. My friend loves it. Thanks so much!

Super cosy!! It’s such a vibe I love it. Cash only. I appreciate their drinks / cake set menus. I went during the day and there was almost no one there and it was very relaxing. The pups were also very welcoming and it was all around a good time.

Large selection of high quality cakes, breads and a great lunch menu. The pizzas are especially good. It's run by a couple of lovely ladies but they do not speak English but it was easy to be understood. Cash only here so come prepared and you won't be disappointed. They had this huge adorable golden retriever greet us at the door with his toy. This was one of the best places to visit for us. Really loved it. *Edit* We went back and discovered that these lovely ladies do speak some English!

Interesting deco and a very cosy place for a cold winter. Limited sitting space and only accept cash.

Come for the dogs, stay for the brilliant pizza. The two owners are nice as well once they warm up to you, the first time was a bit cold, but the second time they sat down with us and talked with us about our home country.

Had a very good New York style pizza and got to pet two really good dogs. The ladies that run the place are super nice and you’ll feel at home. The cats were nowhere to be found, which... is ok.

Brought our kids to this cute cafe. The interior is super eclectic and the ladies working there are so sweet. We got a large pizza there and while it was pretty pricey, it was really yummy and filling. My kids insisted that I post a review for this place because they loved it so much. They have two huge, sweet golden retrievers and two kitties in the shop. It was like a pet cafe and bakery in one! 🥰
