RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka Reviews

Although the hotel is far from the main tourist areas in Osaka, it worked out very well for us. It’s in a quiet location, just 10 minutes from Osaka Station using the hotel’s shuttle service.
Service at the Presidential Towers was exceptional, everyone was efficient and polite, they have multinational staff, so communication in your own language is easy.
Amenities in the room were of good quality, food presentations at the club were enjoyable, although they were the same every single day of our 4 night stay.
Due to the time difference, those of us who cross from the other side of the world may get hungry at unusual times while in Japan, although there are plenty of dining options at the hotel, room service options were limited, specially after 9:30PM. One night I was suggested to go to the 7/11 at the basement level since there were no restaurants open nor room service available.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, it was a quiet hotel with exceptional service that will stay in my mind for next time I’m in Osaka.

The RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka boasts a stunning lobby and convenient amenities like a shopping area and a 7-Eleven on B1. Its accessibility from Nakanoshima station and the Osaka International Convention Center is a plus. Guests appreciate the clean, well-facilitated rooms with complete amenities. However, the room size might not justify the price, especially considering its relatively small size even for Asian standards. The complimentary shuttle service to Osaka station every 15 minutes until 22:30 is a thoughtful touch.

RIHGA has become one of my fave city hotel! I love how gorgeous the hotel design is, I can remember every detail vividly until today. On top of that, their room is comfortable to the max. I could stay in all day. My manager booked me a room and I checked in with them on my birthday 7 of May. I guess the receptionist didn’t realised that, bcoz I was expecting to have a cake instead of breakfast voucher 🤣 Joke aside, I was welcoming by their amazing front office team before 3pm checkin - I’m fine - a reason to walk around the hotel area. Well, they made my solo trip more unforgettable and enjoyable that for sure. They’re very helpful especially Mr. YAMAMOTO. ORIGATO 😍 He’s the last person I talked to before I checked out. He is such a calm and thoughtful person. He suggested me a better route and way to get to the airport. I’m pleased. Eventho I didn’t get any surprise on my birthday as a diamond holder, but I’m blessed to have a warm service provider in the same place. Perhaps this year, living in peace is the reminder. Once again, thank you! Hope to stay with RIHGA again.

A spacious lobby, just next to Osaka International Convention Centre. The service was outstanding. Room is just good. Most importantly, Righa hotel provides FREE Shuttle service to Universal Studio Japan (7 am in the morning). Other than that, another facility is dropped off and picked up from Osaka Station.

Easily the biggest rooms of all the hotels on our tour. There's sufficient space to place 2 luggages, a little table to eat a meal and a sofa as well.

Actually we were here for only conference gala dinner. We have French Dinner here, it was very tasty. Hotel is very luxurious and very beautiful. But it is costly ...I like the hotel very much.

The hotel is right above the Nakanoshima station, you won't need to walk outside to find a subway station.
The room was clean and tidy.

Everything is awesome. But lounge closing at six is not done. Its vacation and guests need lounge to be open.

Shuttle bus is awesome, they have amazing breakfast and kind people. Just one thing was weird, I left tips for cleaning ladies but they didn’t take that. :(

Traditional luxury Japanese hotel in the ritzy heart of Osaka. Has lots of wow factor including the Rolls Royce's for sale at the entrance.

We stayed at the Rihga Royal for a few nights last week (November 2023). The rooms are quite dated and old looking but very very clean. Our bathroom had a bath tub so if you need an accessible shower, ensure that the front desk staff knows that when you check in. The toilet was a lovely Japanese Toto toilet with a seat warmer, bidet, and the works. We loved it.

We had a family room (4 travellers: 2 adults and 2 kids) which included 4 single beds and a sitting area with couch and desk. The beds were comfortable, linens clean, ample towels and slippers and robes provided.

The lobby is huge with a lounge area in the rear that overlooks a waterfall. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. In the lobby there is a bakery called Melissa where you can purchase things like baked goods and coffee.

At B2 there is a well stocked 7-11 and a number of restaurants and shops. The 7-11‘s hours of operation are 7am to 10pm. We grabbed something and had a quick breakfast here most mornings.

The location is mediocre but ideal for the price. There is a hotel shuttle that takes you to Osaka Station. It runs every 6 minutes and is clean. Osaka Station is grand and beautiful. Lots of shops, places to eat and people watching.

Our room safe was not working, so we held onto our passports which worked out well since most of the shopping that we did required a passport to shop tax free.

All in all it was a good stay.

Service is everything and they did a fantastic job. They allowed us to upgrade and on to of that. The head management personally delivered a complimentary birthday gift.
I would have given this a perfect score but i feel the cleaning crew could have been more observant. I won't point out anything because it could have been a hit or miss. We will be back and we highly recommend.

This might be the best place to stay if you're in Osaka. Prices range from affordable to expensive suites. Breakfast is superb. The room is spacious with lots of storage spaces. Plus, there's a free shuttle every 6 to 15 minutes going to Osaka Station, another plus, a great view from your window overlooking the river. Staff are very helpful and friendly! Overall, fantastic stay! ❤

A newish looking hotel with nice decors. The room offered to me was spacious and clean. And it was cleaned thoroughly every day I stayed there. The receptionists were courteous and helpful, and speak more english than an average japanese person. It's a bit far from downtown or the osaka subway station, though.

I have nothing but praise to say about this hotel, I highly recommend for anyone staying in the Osaka area and will return in the future.
The location is great, and even more convenient is the shuttle to the main JR station in Osaka that runs very often.
The facilities are very large and beautiful, the room itself was not only one of the larger rooms I have stayed at in Japan, but came with a beautiful tub and shower combination with many water jets. The room and hotel had so many amenities that made the stay so much more pleasant.
Best of all at this hotel was the service, I came to check in with a very difficult situation that I am sure was a burden for the hotel staff with one of our guests losing his passport, not only were they very friendly and accommodating but they even helped him contact the police to get his passport replaced. The service here is outstanding and I would really like to thank not just the ladies who helped us at the front desk but the other staff who were very friendly and accommodating during our stay as well.
I have stayed in many higher end hotels around the world and I can confidently say this was one of the best — much better than many other 5 star hotels I have stayed at in the past.
Thank you Righa Royal for helping make our Osaka trip an amazing one!

I often use it at work. It's a shame that it's far from the station.
I wanted to buy a cake as a souvenir, but there weren't many types.

The 2nd of 3 Rhiga hotels me and a friend stayed at on our 40th Birthday trips to Japan.
This hotel has wow factor, and it's waterfall scene and dining area is stunningly beautiful.
The rooms were excellent and had an amazing view of the city.
The staff were very helpful and many spoke good basic english and were very helpful and accomodating.
For the price, this hotel, much like the other Rhiga's, felt to be great value.
