Dormy Inn Tomakomai Natural Hot Spring

Good and convenient location. And although the room is on the small side, its adequately comfortable and the internet is fast and stable. The hot springs on the top is nice and convenient to have, and I made use of it quite often. A great stay if you are traveling alone, as I would say that the twin room is a little bit small.

This hotel is located about 10-min walk from Tomakomai JR station. The whole area is actually quite quiet with few people, but still packed with many Izakaya restuarants nearby. If you do not like Izakaya, within 10-min walk you can find a Mos Burger and a Yoshinoya, and some western restaurants nearby the JR station. I suppose one of the famous spots in Tomakomai is the fish market which is also in walking distance (around 20 minutes).

Other than food, next to the JR station is a big Donki mall. It is actually the most spacious Donki mall I have visited in Japan so it is really comfortable to shop inside. Besides, there is a giant Aeon mall in Tomakomai and you can take a free shuttle next to the JR station.

In the hotel, it is a usual Dormy Inn setup. Room is very clean and tidy. As I stay in high floor, the view is excellent. My room is very quiet and I didn't hear any noise from other guests during my stay. I got very good rest every evening.

As for the spring bath, it has both indoor/outdoor bath and a dry sauna. It is very relaxing to soak in them but I am not sure if they are using natural spring water as they seem only hot water to me. One point to note is the outdoor bath and sauna are very hot and I cannot really stay more than 5 minutes. The indoor one seems better to me.

The only complaint is that the wifi is not reliable and not working from time to time.

Very convenient hotel. Full of service, most of them are free of charge such as free ramen at night, complete breakfast menu, public onsen. Room is well organised and tidy, also well equipped. Really recommended

Best hotel brand for us, as we love public bath. Their bath facilities were clean, well designed and thoughtful. Rooms were small as expected but still comfortable and cozy.

I had made a reservation at the wrong night and when I arrived the hotel it was pretty late already. At the counter I told them if I needed to make another reservation and they just gave me the room straight away at no charges! Thank you. Excellent place to stay over a night for your journey.

Simple, but that's why this hotel is best. Breakfast quality is good, spa is also good. Room is little bit small, but that's not reason cannot sleep well

Tiny rooms. Rooftop al fresco hot spring is a delight. Strict check in enforced for 3pm, earlier at 2pm if you pay the additional 1000 yen.

初めてドーミーインに泊まりましたが、想像以上に満足できました。天然温泉、食事が売りですが、いずれも高水準。露天つきの温泉は旅で疲弊した心身に染み渡り、夜鳴きそばや朝食ビュッフェはどれも美味しくてハイレベル。部屋は若干小さめなものの、細かく行き届いたサービスで十分お釣りが来ます。1階にセコマも入っているので物資の調達やご飯も心配なし。また泊まりたいお宿でした。

出張で利用しました！

客室は可も無く不可もなくでした！が、
小さいことで、つまみで明るさを調整出来る、エアコン調整がある点は良かったです！

まぁドーミーインなら普通かもですが、とりあえず露天風呂とサウナが最高でした！！！
サウナも4人？入れるかどうか狭さですが、92-95℃あり個人的には最適でした！
水風呂はあることに気づかず…水シャワーにしてしまったのですが、露天風呂の雰囲気はもちろん、３つ椅子があり、めちゃくちゃ整いました！お風呂あがりのアイスと朝のヤクルトも嬉しい！
関東住みですが、
最近、どの温浴施設も混んでいてゆっくり出来ていなかったので、こんな日帰り施設あればなぁといったところです。

周辺には飲み屋もちらほらあり、吉野家、かつやなどもありました！

また来たいです！

コスパといい全て良い。夜食ラーメン無料。アイスクリーム、ドリンク、ヤクルト無料、コインランドリーの洗濯機無料、乾燥機は30分100円。日本中にあるホテルなので今度からこのホテルに泊まる事にする。明日の朝ごはんも期待できる！
