Mandarake Grand Chaos Shop

Excellent store! The selection is insane and there is a lot to dig through. I spent 4 hours here looking for manga and other goodies. If your have a chance to come here, you won't be disappointed. It's worth going out of your way because you will find something you want, it's a collectors dream 😍

It was a surprise for me to find a complete collection of Urusei Yatsura in it!!!
The store is very interesting, you can endlessly look at the assortment and find something interesting.
Large selection of old manga magazines from the 60s to the present at a good price.

Anyone who is an anime/manga/video game fan should check this shop out. Many of the items are second hand but you will find limited edition items you can’t find anywhere else. The prices are reasonable and you can easily spend a few hours browsing around their selections. As this place get super busy, start from the top floor and make your way down. The lower floors get very busy.

Eye opener for us to see all the collectable items. A few minutes of walking distance from Metro. Stopped by this 1st shop before heading Nipponbashi Denden Town.

Wonderful store! There are several floors of used items at good prices - by Osaka standards. Come ready to dig through piles of boxes of small toys, endless shelves of books and used figurines at fair prices.

Somehow they managed to organized this shop and when I visited last time, it is much more easier to roam around and look for specific items.

Bought some items here and they always have this vibe of "turning back the time" such an experience.

Good Mandrake store. Two floors - the second floor has some Blythe, Wanda frog. Lots of little fortune frogs.

A lot of good doujinshi. Got some Touhou CDs, some INAZUMA, and other works I don't feel comfortable saying on a Google review. Definitely check it out!

As for the others mandarake stores i visited previously, this One Is great. I love anime ost but you Will find also LPs,manga,gadgets. Cosplay costumes. They have 4 floors.

There are quite a lot of old collectible toys to be found here, ranging from affordable to the crazy expensive, depending on the condition of the piece. Just found a SOC GX 26 piece here in mint condition and priced about right. I highly recommend this place if you just want to relive your childhood memories or if you are a serious collector.

So far one of the best vintage figure toys in Namba Osaka. Good variety of sofubi and mechas figures. Many floors you can spend half day checking all the floors.

All items are much cheaper than other shops since they only sell second-hand items. I BOUGHT SO MUCH YOI AND FREE! DOJIN!!! It's heaven!

Mandarake is a chain of Japanese stores specializing in vintage and second-hand products. There are lots of interesting things to buy like manga, action figures, toys and dvds. If you don't understand much about Japanese culture, you might get a little lost among the variety of products on sale. The employees don't speak English so if you don't speak Japanese you may have some difficulty communicating. They offer free taxes for tourists. It's one of the coolest stores to find old things in Japan.

It is truly grand chaos within. But this is the go to place if you're looking for old memorabilia, even x-rated ones.

Great place to look for doujins. Just go to the upper floors to check out their selection. They also have the more normal mangas as well.

This was an awesome store, they have everything Otaku you could want. The staff on the second? floor (trading cards), particularly the cheerful man with part-bleached hair and glasses, were very helpful and super friendly in assisting a foreigner like myself with only basic Japanese skills. Can’t wait to come back here again next year.

Great place to get anime merchandise for a very low price, specially if you're looking for vintage anime, and it's usually half the original price. It's a second hand shop but everything is in excellent condition, most of it comes in the original box. You can find figurines, drama CDs, blu rays, DVDs, cosplay, key chains, doujinshi, video-games, game consoles, etc.
