Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE OSAKA

Very good location, just next to JR Osaka. Maybe a bit difficult to find its doors for the first time, but hotel website has detailed instructions with photos and videos. The hotel is quite new. Their staff is very friendly. The room size is reasonable, and toilet and bathroom have separate doors.

Location of hotel was very convenient and accessible from the train station! They had self check in terminals for quick check in / out. They also had complimentry coffee machines at the lobby too! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were new, clean and very well furnished! However the room was a little small, not much space to put our luggage. Enjoyed my stay nevertheless!

5 stars because you can’t beat the views from your room.
Location is great. But at times it was a bit tricky to find the entrance to the hotel 🤣
Elevators are always busy which is annoying.
Check in/check out process is fully automated and was very easy.
Selection of amenities could be improved (more skincare things like in other hotels we stayed at in our trip).
Room size was ok, traditional Japanese pillows were horrible and not suitable for belly sleepers.
Ended up with neck pain ((
Bathroom was clean. Underground convenience store was great too.

Loved this hotel for its excellent location. I stayed here for 8 nights and it was affordable considering its prime location as I was able to travel to Kyoto, Nara and Kobe easily using the train as it is connected to JR Osaka Station via level 2 walkway. Amenities are available at level 9 near reception and room was clean and comfy. Recommended for those who are travelling to neighbouring cities!

I recently stayed at the Hankyu Reprire Osaka and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel's location is unbeatable, being incredibly close to the station and within walking distance of Yodobashi and Umeda links. The facility itself was top-notch, offering stunning views and excellent amenities. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring a quick check-in and checkout process. I particularly appreciated the bag drop-off facility, which made exploring the city much easier. The in-room entertainment was also great, providing a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I highly recommend the Hankyu Reprire Osaka to anyone visiting Osaka!

Rooms are super. Comfortable beds. Fresh. Quite. Location is excellent and a short 5-7 minute walk to Osaka Station (maybe the main hub for trains and metros). A bit eclectic with two different elevators at two different points in the building to get to your room. Tried their expensive breakfast today, and would not recommend their cold and rather unexciting breakfast buffet at 2500 yen. Buffet gets a 2 of 5 rating. Otherwise ok but I will choose another Hotel future stays. It’s just a cold vibe from the staff and guests, too many western tourists including myself.

Hotel is located at a very convenient location. Just a short walk from JR Station (Osaka).

Took a 4 bedder and it was great for our family.

Service and food were outstanding.

It has all the shops, food outlets and supermarket within the same building too.

The room has a nice layout. We had the room for 3, all proper single beds. Bathroom was big, glass door dividing the washing/ toilet area from the bathing area. Only thing there was no hooks to hang one's clothes. Open concept for the clothes hanging area. The room feels more for seniors n wheelchaired bound guest. Location is definitely a big plus.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Special mention to concierge staff Ms Osawa who handled our two large luggages with care and delivered them to the next hotel.

I stayed at Respire Osaka for three nights. Not only the location is convenient, a walking distance to Osaka station, malls, konbinis, supermarket and restaurants; but the staff was exceptional.
I missed the shinkansen from Tokyo and the manager reimbursed my last-minute cancellation of the first night with the help of an interpreter.

The queen bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and clean. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay, but keep in mind that the coin laundry might get rather crowded so you have to wake up very early to find a washing machine available.

An excellent Japanese hotel given its value, location, functionality, and amenities.

A number of reviews highlight the small rooms. I feel it is a little unfair as this is Japan and hotel rooms are usually on the smaller side.

We chose a 25 sqm room with two double beds on the upper floors. While it is smaller than the hotel rooms we are used to in other countries, we found the room sufficient especially with its highly functional layout and storage spaces.

We re-arranged the small seating area and placed our luggage there so it became a much more usable space. We brought along a travel cooker (great idea to heat up amazing supermarket food) and placed that with the coffee machine and hot water jug. That was also the "pantry area" where we placed snacks. There were also plenty of drawers and shelves for makeup and accessories. So, we found no lack of space despite the small room.

Small amenities like toothbrushes and coffee / tea are provided in the lobby (level 9) and you can take what you want. If you want extra pillows, you can ask for and collect them from the lobby too.

Beds are great. The mattresses are on the firm side and are superb for a good night sleep. Despite the seemingly thin walls, the rooms are quiet.

The location of this hotel is exceptional. It's a short walk from the Osaka JR Line and Osaka Metro. So, it's super convenient to head out from here to other cities like Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe, as well as popular places in Osaka like Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Shinseikai. And there are so many shopping malls and good restaurants around the hotel too.

P.S.: We did not choose the hotel breakfast as we deem it unnecessary. For 2,500-3,000 yen, you can get a lot of food in Osaka.

Still, we enjoyed our stay here and greatly recommend this hotel!

Super convenient location. If has a bridge connects the Yodobashi building to Osaka station and it’s just around the corner from HANKYU bus stop for airport shuttle. We were on the top floor 34th out of 35.. very good night view of Osaka from the window

This must be among the most conveniently located hotels in Osaka, right in the heart of Umeda with lots of shops and restaurants and transport links to places in Osaka and other nearby cities too!

The hotel looks new and is well designed with themed artwork. The city and night views from the rooms (we stayed at two different rooms) were great. The check-in line seemed long at times, but it should take just 15 minutes in the queue or so.

I think because of the Hankyu RESPIRE Osaka, we've come to like Umeda and Osaka (and also the Hankyu train company) more!

My stay with Hotel Hankyu RESPIRE was fantastic, especially its kind and prompt customer services and supports were outstanding.

I could not make a reservation for some attraction since I did not have a Japanese cell phone plan. However, the staff named Fujita helped book it for me. She was tremendously kind, helpful, and professional.

For her help, my wife and I had a great time and experience. We could not thank her enough!

Staying at Hankyu Repire Osaka was the best choice for a holiday in Osaka. Not only is it near the train station, airport shuttle bus, it is also located within a mall.

Given that it is typhoon season now, the location of the hotel is superb. Food available, transport just across the road. Anything is within reach.

I had a problem with my next hotel booking, but as I speak absolutely no Japanese I approached the hotel front desk for help. One staff in particular was excellent help and I am really grateful for Hide from the front desk. Not only did Hide speak excellent English, she was also warm, helpful and helped me call the other hotel, explain my dilemma and help me solve it. Thank you, Hide!!!!!

This hotel is perfect. Because it is close to Umeda station and connected by underground. You will not need an umbrella even in rainy weather. Accommodation rates are also very reasonable.

Stayed in the hotel (4 Twin Beds - 30th- High Floor - Fourth, Non Smoking) with family of 4 in 1 room from Sept 22 to 16. Everything was perfect, including room size and cleanliness, service, location.

Check in was busy but efficient considering the size of the hotel. Lots of shopping access. Breakfast was amazing. Surprisingly quiet for such a big hotel.
