TOHO Cinemas Namba

Watched the latest Conan movie at Toho Cinema Namba and had a fantastic experience! Comfortable seats, excellent sound quality, and a clean environment. The popcorn and chicken were great too. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing time at the movies.

Being from Italy, this was my first Japanese cinema experience. All was impeccable and super clean! Great audio and video and comfy seats.

As a tourist visiting Japan I wanted a quiet night in the middle of my trip. Seeing a movie here was perfect, I used a kiosk At the cinema to buy tickets to a film (in English with Japanese subtitles) and was easily able to order snacks from. Incredibly friendly staff and a really clean complex. Bonus points for the half and half popcorn.

The best place to watch movies with friends, family or even alone.. You can enjoy yourself, you can buy food & drinks while waitibg for your tome schedule to wstch or you can bring your popcorn & drinks inside cinema and the place is so spacious and clean and tne sound inside movie cinema is great😊❤ Happy watching😍

Nice movie theater. There are many tickets selling machines. If you don't want popcorn, you can try other delicious fast food here. You can get discount with student card (if you a study abroad, you can still get the discount).

I watched Thor, and the experience was so good. The advertisements were short. The 3D sound surrounds were fascinating paired with 3D views. The air con was on point, I didn't feel hot during the movie. It cost 2400 yen for 3D IMax, which is a little expensive for me but it was worth it in my opinion. They also sell hot dog bread and popcorn for around 500 yen. I suggest people buy drinks from outside and bring it to the cinema since the cinema sells drinks around 300 yen.

Great theater. It is separated into two buildings, so double check the screen of your movie.

Fun experience. Lots of bass with speakers in the front. Quality projection. Good prices on combos for 1 or 2.

It was a really nice cinema where we could watch movies in English. The seats and theater were very comfortable. We had a great time!

(As an American going here for vacation) A++ service, easy to use ticket system, spicy chicken nuggets are great and all the food prices are so reasonable for a theater (esp. compared to American ones). Tickets are on the more expensive to make up for it but totally worth it if you've never experienced a movie in Japan. Also Sub for their movies means Japanese subtitles so it's in English (if it's a Hollywood film).

We had a snafu in our ticket ordering and they were SOOO nice about making sure we still got to see our movie. 1000% would return.

Best IMAX cinemas I've ever been. They have a huge team working to keep it clean and to help you to go through their long hallways and numerous theatres.

The popcorn and drink menu is easy to understand for foreigners, as you can pick your order just by pointing what you want in the menu they keep next to the cashier. (So you don't have to babble looking up to the upper menu)

They offer English dubbed films on their daily basis, but you'll have to take into account that the last screening is quite early, around 10 pm, something difficult to believe from an European view!

Beautiful cinema! I went alone which felt kinda weird but the cinema was beautifully set out and very comfortable. I didn't buy any food but they appeared to have a lot of options, from different types of popcorn, fries, hotdogs, churros etc. Seats were quite comfortable too. You can book your tickets online and pick up your tickets from a machine when you arrive, which is convenient and assures you won't miss out on a seat!

A great place made even better! They have optimized the space on the top floor of Marui. Now TOHO Namba has the waiting area directly in front of the elevators so you can see who you are waiting for. More concession stands so less wait time for the ONLY popcorn in town with butter topping!

As most bigger cinemas in Japan, the quality is great and the prices for tickets are high.

TOHO is easily accessible, centrally located just besides Nankai Namba, and has 9 theatres + 4DX nearby. Several boots to buy popcorn, beer, sodas etc. Professional and polite staff.

(visits: 1) nice. Easy to order tickets on line in English. Easy to pick them up when I got here. Saw a movie in the huge IMAX theatre room. It was great. Zero complaints.

Last Friday I went here for the first time. I was glad to find how attentive the staff were. One of my earrings fell under the seats and after the movie two women (members of the staff) helped me find it as if they wanted to not that they had to do it. Thank you.

Just a fantastic cinema, has everything a cinema should have. IMAX, 4D, you name it. Price is also acceptable. If you go after 8p.m you’ll get a discount.

Excellent movie experience. I didn't try the food, but the movie was amazing. Seats were comfortable and the sound was perfect. I wish I could raise the arm rest.
