Love this park be it Sakura or autumn foliage season. Not a popular tourist spot, you can enjoy the scenery without seeing many tourists.

This is one of many gorgeous parks in our area. There are washrooms, vending machines, a pet friendly cafe and lots of trails to explore. If you’re a Pokémon Go trainer this park is stuffed with Gyms and stops as well 😎👍🏻

Our last trip was in the evening, best time to walk the dogs during the summer in Japan 😅

Beautiful park to spend a day with family. The museum guides were very knowledgeable and he spoke English to me since my Japanese is lacking. I wish I had gotten his name.

Beautifully landscaped park, I can imagine it must be very enjoyable to have a casual stroll if you are a local resident.

Beautiful park with a lovely Japanese garden in it. It has a pond with some pretty bridges. The constructions there (a veranda, a gazeebo...) have a Japanese traditional style. It's really recommended to go there on a sunny day, in the afternoon, and take some time to wander around. Good spot to take beautiful photos.

I visited it during the autumn 🍂 season, it's amazing! Especially the Japanese Garden within Daisen Park, the wonderful thing is that almost no tourists.

Awesome park with a lot of cherry blossoms. There is also a Japanese garden and you can visit the kofun tomb in this area.

Daisen Park is a large park located in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, and is known for its beautiful Japanese gardens, pond, and tea house. The park covers an area of 0.81 square kilometers (0.31 square miles), and is home to a variety of plants and trees, including cherry blossoms, maple trees, and pines.

The Japanese garden is the highlight of the park, and is a peaceful and tranquil place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The garden is divided into two sections, the Shinden Garden and the Tsukiyama Garden. The Shinden Garden is the older of the two, and is characterized by its winding paths, koi ponds, and traditional Japanese structures. The Tsukiyama Garden is newer, and is designed to resemble a moon-viewing garden.

The pond is another popular spot in the park, and is a great place to go for a walk or have a picnic. The tea house is located on the edge of the pond, and is a great place to enjoy a cup of tea and some Japanese sweets.

Daisen Park is a great place to visit any time of year, but it is especially beautiful during the cherry blossom season (late March to early April) and the autumn foliage season (late November to early December). The park is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and admission is free (except for the Japanese garden, which costs 200 yen).

Excellent big park across from the Nintoku Tennō-Ryo Kofun. The Japanese garden inside Daisen Park is an absolute jewel.

This park has something for everyone! It's big enough and green enough that you can escape the cityscape. I love running here!

This is a wonderful place for you to enjoy nature and share food with your friends and family. If you like Japanese history, you may be surprised by the scale of the tombs nearby.
