karaksa hotel Osaka Namba

Really enjoyable stay, the hotel has a very humble feel, not much emphasis on design or fit out, it’s a tad bland - but they absolutely nail getting the basics right! Very clean, decent sized room, great explanation on how to use everything, friendly service, all the amenities you can think of, including free toiletries that are actually good, nice breakfast buffet, free non alcoholic drink refills until late at night. A little bit unexciting but extremely comfortable - could stay here for ages given the awesome central location. (Easy walking distance to anything, food, shopping mall, nightlife, train stations, metro or the main Namba one is 10 min walk)

Really good hotel if your staying for a while!! They have a snack bar area and a place to provide toiletries such as skin care and towels. The staff is really nice and even if you already checked out, they could temporarily keep your luggage. The location was also close to many places. Highly recommend!!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. We booked our room via Priceline which was handled by Agoda behind the scenes. However agoda cancelled our reservation without notifying us. The front desk staff patiently worked with us and even found us a room last minute! They could’ve said there is nothing they can do and asked us to stay somewhere else. The hotel itself is very clean and bed is comfortable too.

You have value for your money (not expensive compared to their hotels). Hotel is very well located, room at 7floor was good and quiet (although a bit tiny according to European standards but that was identical with our hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto), receptionists super helpful. Will come back in this hotel next time I’m around

I don’t know how should i thank the staff of this hotel especially to Mr. Todo and the other girl staff that i forgot i her name (Jini?) i think she is indonesian? Anyways, i can’t thank you enough for all the assistance we needed especially when we had a problem with one of our luggage that was delivered by Yamato. Good thing that the staff here can speak in english well.

As for the rooms, it was quite small and maybe old dated maybe need an upgrade but nevertheless we were just there to sleep at night because we were out all day

About 6 min walk from the nearest metro station. Rooms were a good size. The service was outstanding. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Todo helped us organise luggage transfer from Osaka to our next hotel in Tokyo. The hotel provides free refreshments from 1pm to midnight which was a lovely surprise.

Service is very good and attentive, especially Chen and Wu who helped me to solve a booking issue seamlessly. The hotel is very clean and quiet, bed is comfortable and shower is great. Comes with USB ports for charging too. Location wise is right between Namba and Shinsaibashi.

Great hotel for our 1 week in Osaka.
Staff is very friendly and knows English very well. Specifically Todo-san. He was very knowledgeable with all questions we had.

- deciding when to ship our luggage
- storing our luggage on the last day.

If you are going to do laundry this hotel only has 2 machines. There is an offsite laundry with about 6-7 machines 1 minute walk away from the hotel. All machines were full when we tried to do our laundry. This wasn’t a big deal but something to be aware of.

One of the rooms in our connecting hotel had a weaker AC. The other one worked well.

Had a very pleasant stay for 6 days.
Service was good. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. The hotel also provides free drinks and snacks throughout the day from after lunch till 2400. But the choices are quite limited and repeated, especially if you also have breakfast there. Their variety for breakfast is quite limited. Only two types. Which means that menu will repeat every other day. Breakfast on day 1 will be repeated on day 3. However, the only things they change are just the fish, noodles, fruits I think.
Hotel room is generally clean. They provide the basic items such as disposable toothbrushes, two bottles of water, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, etc. You may also find the other disposable items such as shaver, comb, etc. near the front desk. Take only what you need.
Hotel WiFi is very strong in the room. I stayed at level 5 and the internet speed was very fast in the room. There is no wardrobe in the room, but there are wall hooks and hangers for your clothes. In case you need to iron your clothes, you have to request from the front desk for the steamer. I like the shower room; it is separated from the dry area and basin. That helps to prevent cold wind from entering after shower, so you won't catch a cold. There is also the rain shower. The toilet bowl is separated from the main toilet, and the small toilet has auto sensor to detect once you sit on the WC. The sound of loud flushing water will be played to mask the sounds produced when you do business. The volume is adjustable. Hotel room not much walking space or luggage space, so I had to put the luggage on the sofa. Bed was quite comfortable. Oh, they also provide pyjamas.

Location is quite good. Roughly in between Shinsaibashi and Namba metro station. Should be slightly nearer to walk to shinsaibashi metro station (can just walk to OPA building for one of the entrance) Only a few min walk to the shopping street.
Just around the hotel there are many small stalls.. selling takoyaki, fried food, ramen, clothings, family mart, etc.

It is one of the closest places to downtown Namba, and the consulate of South Korea. The staff is very nice and helpful. In our case, the staff was from Taiwan and very friendly. I booked a king size bed room. The room was good, but it didn't have tub. I wanted to enjoy tub. Other than that, it has all amenities. The price was somewhere in the upper range for that room but recommend it. We had great time there. From mask to water to toiletries, no problem.

We love this new concept hotel very much. The hotel is such a good place to stay, the room and facilities are so wonderful, the staff are so friendly, location is so convenient. Love the cozy area where coffee, drinks are provided and can microwave food as and when. We will support Karaksa Hotels..

Great place and location. Really clean and the room I stayed in used the space really well. I would stay here again.

Shower room is huge and loved the rain shower head. Not a lot of space near the sink but that is an issue at all hotels I have stayed at in Japan.

The location was great! I was unsure when I looked at street view and maps ahead of time, but I think it is the perfect area to stay in Namba. Not too seedy and only a brief walk to the more active parts of Namba.

Spacious hotel at the convenient place at Shinsaibashi shopping street just across the road and with nearby local restaurants but very near to the red light district area. The hotel staffs were friendly & helpful and speak good english & mandarin as well. Been served by one of the chinese reception manager when we check in and she is very patient with us as we can't really understand her at first and very impressed by one of the male staff who speak very good English. No need to worry about language barrier staying at this hotel and they will explain all the information about the hotel and we stayed at ease. Will book again with this hotel but at a different locations with osen next time when we visit Japan.

We are group of 6, living in a connecting room. The free drinks downstairs is so good.

Very convenient location, convenient pantry at the lobby with wide selection of drinks free to guest. Microwave conveniently located at front lobby and seating table. Room is neat, size average, still very new. Comfortable slippers.

Nice hotel in walking distance to glica. Lots of food near by as well. Friendly Staff.
