現代の医学に通じる洪庵先生にお礼がしたく墓参しました。一般の墓参の方に迷惑にならないようにお参りしたいです。隣には大村益次郎先生の脚塚もあります。

大阪府大阪市の龍海寺にお墓があります。
墓正面は「洪庵緒方先生之墓」と刻まれています。

適塾で逸材を育成したほか、大阪で初めて種痘をしたり、コレラの治療方針を示すなど近代医学の発展にも尽くしました。龍海禅寺の墓のそばには、師を慕う大村益次郎の脚を埋めた足塚があります。
