Ultra spacious room for Japanese standards- we picked the corner studio room type. They provided tea and coffee all day long in the lobby. It's more like an apartment style hotel with laundry machines, iron...etc. With a modest size bathtub in the room. The bed is super comfy. The location is also quite convenient, it's walking distance to Dotonbori.

The only thing I see improvement is their breakfast. It's packaged food from a nearby bakery. I would expect more for the price we paid. A proper dining area to enjoy the fresh made meal.

Great hotel and a perfect stay in Osaka. Rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious; and modern with plenty of amenities. You can also request a number of additional items from the front desk at no charge. Coffee and water are available in the lobby. Location-wise it’s away from the busiest areas but you can walk to both subway lines easily for access to all the sites and Dotonburi is only a 25 minute walk.

Love the aesthetic and design of the hotel. Modern, clean and minimalist but comfortable and amenities well provided. We got a corner room so it’s bigger than the typical Japanese hotel rooms. Location is also very central and walking distance to popular shopping and eating places.

Firm mattress and great shower with a tub. Hotel also provides washing machine, free coffee/tea and beverages. Will stay here again next time I am in Osaka.

This hotel was super nice. Everything about the experience was awesome. Starting with the very friendly and helpful staff for check in. In the lobby there are complimentary toiletries as well as snacks, tea, and flavored water. The room was very clean and spacious. There isn't much of a view since the surrounding buildings are similar in size but you can still look out over the neighborhood which is nice. There are so many family marts in the area, making picking stuff up for the room very convenient. It's a short walk to the major shopping street that you can walk all the way to Dontonbori. Pricing for the room was also quite reasonable. I would definitely highly recommend this hotel.

Modern and well priced.

Hotel staff is exceptional and will definitely love to stay again.

Although not in an extremely convenient location, it’s still within minutes to the subway and 10-15 minutes walk from dontoburi tourist area for shopping.

Still many many good restaurants in the area and a 7-11 right next door.

Great 4 nights stay with 2 adults and older tween kids. We opted for their standard room. It’s a bit tight but it’s already bigger room size than Japanese room standard. We loved the bath tub so needed after long day of walks and separated from the toilet.
Service was impeccable and they’ve helped to book us two Yakiniku restaurants and booked taxi for us to the airport.
Loved the toiletries corner to take what’s needed.
Coffee and tea and infused water bar were so great to have.
Overall, we’d come back to this hotel if we were to come back to Osaka again. Great value at the time of booking.
Oh one more thing - you can you the coin laundry availability on the tv screen which was very helpful.

It is the perfect location, within walking distance to Shinsaibashi Shopping Street & Dotonbori area, & close to metro station. The room is comfortable, clean and nice. The bed is very comfortable. They serve complimentary drink station on the lobby area with many tea selection & coffee. Will definitely return to this hotel whenever we visit Osaka.

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, only the breakfast could be a lot better.

Eating the same thing every day, except for a variation in jam was pretty monotonous.

The option to choose your room accessoires in the lobby and the drinks are great as well.

The service was amazing as well, professional and just perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay.

Wanted to write a thank you email but couldn't find their official email. So leaving it here. Hope your team gets it.

"Thanks for the hospitality during my 3 night stay. Your team's help with my numerous luggage needs like luggage service receipt and delivery made a difference to me."

For those considering the hotel, do note that the location is about 10 minutes walk from Shinsaibashi station or 3 minutes walk from the green train line (if you can find the right station exit/entrance point). There's lots of eateries around the area for every price point and there are 2 convenience stores close to the hotel. Note that there is no in-house F&B other than the very nice self service coffee and tea area to make drinks and to relax in the lobby.

Most guests "shop" at the self-service room amenities kit counter. I suppose most guests can't help but to take more than they need because it's there. But to the hotel's credit, they restock the counter often.

The room is very comfortable and a good size for those who prefer larger sized rooms. Packed with modern amenities and cleaned daily. Do note that the bar fridge power is cut when you remove the room key for power. There is a bath tub and shower space in the wet area of the bathroom and the WC is a separate space to itself. It's very well designed to allow the same space to be used differently and also facilitates movement very well.

One of the requests from the hotel is to put your shoes aside at the doorway and wear the in-room slippers to prevent outdoor dirt from spreading around the room. It's a reasonable request and quite aligned with the Japanese culture of reciprocal hospitality and respect.

Overall, the experience with the service staff and the quality of the room makes up for the location's inconvenience. The place is perfect for both short and long stay as it grows on you and feels like home.

We stayed at Hotel The LEBEN for 4 nights in July and my family rated it the best hotel among the ones during our Asia trip! We booked a Superior Twin room and appreciated the modern design and spaciousness for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teen/tweens). The bathroom design with double sinks and separate toilet was also optimal for our needs. The laundry facilities were extremely helpful during the hot summer and the staff were always friendly. They helped us with shipping our luggage to the next hotel. It was in a quieter part of town but not far from Dotonburi. A very walkable 15 min for our family. The best part for our kids may have been the 7-11 across the street! ;)

This is my second visit to Japan. The first trip was in 1981. My children arranged all the accommodation. I stayed in two hotels and 5 Ryokans from Hiroshima, Matsuyama, Lya Valley and Miyanoura.

Hotel The Leben Osaka is comparable to the best Ryokan that I stayed. There is a working table if one requires to do work on a laptop. There is another long table in the living area. There are two queen beds. It is spacious living.

I also applaud Hotel The Leben Osaka for implementing procedures to save the earth without compromising safety, security and comfort.

I recently stayed at this hotel for my wedding anniversary and I have to say that the hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and content. I'm especially grateful for the effort they put in to celebrate our special occasion with us. Even though I don't want to mention specifics, they really made us feel special and it was clear that they cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay with top-notch service. Thank you to the staff for making our anniversary so special!

Wanted to praise such a modern and well kept hotel. The staff were so helpful and treated foreigners really well. The rooms were so comfortable and had lots of technology bits and pieces. Eg laundry has a status bar so you don't have to wait around to know when it was available. Great value for money and we spent many nights here on our honeymoon. Location is brilliant as a short walk away so in a quieter neighbourhood. Easy to get around

What a gem of a hotel. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and I looove the interior design style - so classic, minimalist and chic! From the look of the trash bin to the hair dryer, everything reflects the minimalist style and I was quite impressed. The service was great. The location was great too, only 10 min walk from Shinsaibashi the shopping area. More importantly, the hotel is very well priced. This was actually the cheapest hotel we’ve stayed on our entire trip in Japan but easily our favorite. Would definitely stay here next time we come to Osaka.

It's been a month since we checked out and we still speak about this beautiful hotel. It felt like home. Very professional and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are so comfortable. The interior is so soothing to the eye and very up to date. And it being next to a 7-11 is super convenient. Probably the prettiest hotel in Osaka.

Hotel The Leben Osaka, has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Japan, we had a small issue that was resolved promptly by the management team, allowing for our experience to be nothing less then amazing in Osaka,

The Staff at this hotel are amazing, extremely accommodating to every request my wife and I had while staying there, patient with every questions we asked, providing is the best advice for our travel and exploration of Osaka,

The rooms are modern and spacious,
Rooms were clean with all the necessary facilities, such as a large TV with Streaming Services to watch and streaming apps you have. The Hotel also has a self-service section in the lobby, which allows you to pick up personal toiletry items, such as faces masks, body towels, shavers and other items.

The Beds and Pillows are manageable,
The mattress are Firm providing okay support, we had no issue sleeping on it at the time, but preferences would be a medium mattress to provided more support. 2 pillows are provided 1 firm the other soft allowing you to choice your preference.

The Location is outstanding,
4 mintues away from the Osaka Metro, making it a breeze to get to any location in Osaka, 14 mintue walk from Dotonbori, where you will find the iconic running man.

Overall, wonderful hotel to stay at and would not hesitate to rebook at all, I want to thank all the staff at this hotel for making our stay a memorable one that we enjoyed.

ホテルレーベン大阪のスタッフの皆様、ありがとうございました。 みなさんのサービスは素晴らしいです。 よろしくマイケルとステファニー

This place was awesome. It's within walking distance to the Glico "running man". The rooms were super clean, nice Japanese minimalism décor. The concierges were all friendly and vhelpful. They have a beverage center during designated time with tea, coffee and water. The coolest thing was the toiletries station that has hairbrush, toiletries, shampoo in the lobby. Almost like going shopping at Muji. We will definitely stay here again with my family! Very kid friendly.

Everything about this hotel is perfect 🥰 . The staff are so helpful, cooperated, and friendly. They are perfect reflection of Japanese people, especially Osaka ppl. The style of the hotel is modern you can find everything you need inside your room, especially mobile charger (Japanese adopter) , the rooms are wide, clean and it is a safe hotel. For sure it will be our choice for the next time 😁👌
