Swissôtel Nankai Osaka

I am thoroughly happy with every aspect of this hotel. The rooms not only boast a commendable level of cleanliness but also radiate a contemporary charm, presenting a relatively new and modern ambiance. This attention to detail in maintaining the rooms contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The breakfast offered by the hotel is nothing short of wonderful, providing a stark and refreshing contrast to my previous experiences, particularly at the Hilton Tokyo. The variety, quality, and presentation of the breakfast options showcase a commitment to culinary excellence, creating a delightful and memorable dining experience for guests.

We just spent 2 days at this wonderfully located hotel in Osaka - close to great restaurants and transport. Guest services Staff went out their way to help with food , transport, fluggage forwarding and other queries. Breakfasts were superb on 36 th floor with great views of the city. Rooms already cleaned once breakfast was over. Can't recommend highly enough

We’ve been back to this hotel twice in a year and our last stay was for 10 nights. The rooms are modern and clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the staff are friendly and efficient. There is also a well equipped fitness center and relatively big pool for the guests which is wonderful. Besides that, the location is convenient for commuting and even if one is feeling lazy, it is easy to just head downstairs for food and shopping. One can enjoy fine dining, bar hop and just enjoy a quick bite at one of the tiny eateries all around. I reckon we will be back again soon enough. Thank you Swissôtel Osaka!

Stayed here for 4 nights. Location is just few mins walk from Namba station, we arrived on the 9pm night flight and we dropped off our luggage after check-in and walked to Dotombori to grab dinner. Since it was cold in March, we were looking for something warm (ramen) and Dotombori area had no lack of food. We chose the Swiss select Queen, which is the renovated one, and the interior is more updated and feels more cosy then the standard ones. Theres a mini bar but it’s empty and there are 2 bottles of complimentary water. Room cleaning is done daily but there is an option to not clean your rooms and the hotel will give ¥1000 discount (this is what I remember). Overall very happy with our stay at Swissotel Osaka.

We stayed in a king plus room. Great sized room and location is perfect for exploring. All around great experience. They do all the fundamentals with flying colors. Only note are the quality of products in the room (like the tea and shampoo) aren't luxurious.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. No complaints at all. Swissotel made our stay at Osaka very enjoyable, as it was very easy to make our way around. Also, the rooms were clean and reasonably big for three person, with sufficient amenities provided. I'll certainly recommend it to all friends and relatives, and stay there again, should I return to Osaka.

We loved staying at this hotel whilst in Osaka, conveniently located within the train station complex with access to many boutiques.
Our room was spacious, very clean and had stunning views!
Buffet breakfast was really nice and very reasonably priced.

One of our favourite stats in Japan because of the exceptional service.
A good stay for Accor members. We used our free drinks in the sky bar which had great views over Osaka.
We also stayed in a higher level room and got access to the spa for free. It was nice after a long walking day but unlike other hotels, you can wear your PJs everywhere… a good thing I think for those using the lifts to access the restaurant.
The view from the hotel was beautiful and the PJs and robes were comfy. They even have pillow selections so I didn’t have to use my own pillow.
For those using JR pass (have to change at shin Osaka to namba via subway) it’s a bit hard to find the hotel via the underground passages but it’s easier to travel there if you are using the subway or other train lines.

Stayed for 5 nights as our base for our road trips out to Kyoto, Nara, and Lake Biwa.

Pros:
1) Convenient! Walkable to all the tourist hotspots in the area.
2) Great views! Was fortunate to get a room on the 30th floor.
3) Lift brings you straight to Nankai station where the trains will bring you straight to KIX.
4) Sent our luggage ahead of our arrival. The hotel received it with no issues, and brought the luggage up to our rooms after we checked in.

Cons:
1) Parking charges. A whooping 3300 JPY for parking. No Complimentary parking. And it can't be used for reentry even though the website says 24hours use. I say that because the ticket machine did not return our ticket to us when exiting after only 8 hours.

We will definitely book this hotel if we come back to Osaka. BUT find alternative parking spots!

I love Swissotel Nankai! First, the location is perfect – right on top of Namba Station, in the middle of everything. Second, the rooms are awesome. Got upgraded to a suite the last time I was there, and it was huge – bigger than your average one-bedroom apartment – and we had a lovely view of Namba Parks. Third, the service is excellent. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent location. You just need to know the exit from the subway exit in advance. We follow Google maps but it was not accurate. Just know that that you can exit via exit 5 and walk straight to the lifts to Swissotel at level 6. Excellent service, breakfast area, location and rooms!

Located just above the namba stations. Prime location! However the room was a bit outdated.. anyway its clean and comfy tho and our room has a nice view.

And also it Has a nice rooftop bar with a spectacular view of osaka! Would recommend u to try the bar!

The best hotel choice taking into consideration budget vs location.

This hotel is bang in the middle of the city and within walking distance to many locations such as Dontonbori, Shinsaibashi, Nipponbashi den den town & shinsekai. Shopping and F&B all in the vivcinity.

We had the junior suite so it was very spacious for a Japanese hotel.

Highly recommended for first time or returning travellers to Osaka.

Wonderful 4 night stay at the Swissotel. We had a corner suite that accommodated our family of 4.
So convenient that the Rapi:d train (be sure to take the blue Darth Vader helmet looking train) came straight to the station below the hotel. We followed the signs and the elevator whisked us up to the 7th fl hotel lobby.
Check in was fast and were lucky that the room was ready and allowed us to go up to relax after our 12 hr flight. Beds were nice and comfortable, great gym, pool, we also used the hot saunas and baths after a long day of sightseeing.
The breakfast buffet on the 36th floor was an event alone!
So much to see and do around the hotel area, we are in the hub and walked around to Kuromon market, Dotombori, all the shopping malls, Takashimaya mall restaurants and takeouts for lunch and dinner. We had such a wonderful time and will visit again.

This hotel is located on top of the Namba station and Takashimaya. It is easily accessible to train station and there are lots of eateries within the vicinity. Dontoburi is also within walking distance.

Unbeatable location. Got off the Rapidt train at Namba Starion from Kansai airport and the lifts to the hotel is literally 1 minute away without any stairs. Connected to malls, conveniences shops, and just a <10 minutes walk to Dotonbori.
