Ramen Makotoya Shinsaibashi

No frills place with counter seating serving delicious ramen! Definitely recommend the spicy special, which was very creamy. We also ordered the pork special which was served in a tasty broth. Portions are very generous, with lots of noodles and meat. Would come back!

Small and good place for ramen and we came here at 5:30 it was not that crowded.
We had special full combo ramen, which was super big and good for 2 peoples.
Ramen was good, and pork was thick and tender. The broth soy sauce ramen had tasty clear soup and good.
Gyoza also has thin skin and smell good, the meat was also delicious.

i usually eat here because for me the red chili beef ramen here is the best ramen in osaka, yesterday as usual i eat here and paid with 10000 yen bill and i forgot to take the change, as soon as i realize, i called the store and the store keep my money until the next day and return it to me. im so thankful and i think this is the best ramen shop in osaka

Best Ramen so far. No huge lines unlike in other ramen shops. Open till late night. Finish the whole bowl and you will see a small thank you message at the bottom of the bowl...

Great dining experience... friendly and accommodating staff. The place was small but very homey. Great food! Yummy! They also offer cold water which is very welcome specially when you visit Japan during the summer. Location is on one of the side streets of Shinsaibashi shopping street. 😋👍🍜🍥🍚🍺

Perfect ramen in Shinsaibashi, before entering the place, u have to take yourself the order at a vending machine that is also in English language.
Everything it's very tasty and the service is fast.

The best ramen I've had so far in my life ❤. The broth was smooth, milky, full of flavour and the noodles were done just right. Perfect stop for a hot bowl of noodles on a cold day

It's just enough space to gather with a group of 5 and enjoy some great ramen and the fried rice was excellent as well.

an amazing beef bone broth that i still wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweats craving, its super rich and balanced with flavor and salt.

we also got the fried rice and gyoza as sides and they were wonderful as well. the fried rice was nice and buttery. the gyoza was perfectly cooked, it had a slightly crispy yet soft bite.

My first ramen in Japan, what a great start! The broth is so creamy and flavorsome, spicy beef was great. You need to order on a machine outside before you go in, it's in English but some of the options don't translate so you need to kind of guess the steps to checkout.#BeatTheGrind

One of the tastiest ramen I have had in Japan thus far! Broth is rich and flavourful, noodles are the thin kind served al dente. Simple no frills delicious kinda ramen. Highly recommended!

Honestly some of the best ramen I've ever had. Beef bone broth. Look at those eggs. Reasonably priced. Don't think, check it out, thank me later. Order at the kiosk in the front, hand your tickets (all of them) to the folks behind the counter, and enjoy!

Had the beef bone ramen with gyoza and fried rice for 1330 円。so much food. Excellent beef broth and toppings. The fried rice was amazing as well. Gyoza was not bad but definitely recommend the fried rice. Overall 4.5/5

This restaurant is located in the most touristy area, as it is, it can get crowded so expect to wait a bit if you show up at peak hours. There’s a lit machine outside the restaurant to make your order, you’ll receive a ticket and then you can head inside if there’s room. You give the ticket to the chef and they’ll make your ramens.
The ramen soup I chose was quite heavy, with curry spices. The broth was very tasty but also heavy with a good amount of fat. The meat was incredibly tender and just melt in your mouth, it would even tear up picking it up with the chopsticks. I recommend to try it once if you’re looking for a very filling meal / dinner.

Delicious chicken and beef soup based ramen with great service. I love green onions and certainly got my 100 Yens worth with the optional extra topping!

It's one of those vending machine restaurants, but it has a basic English option (click Japanese not English on the screen!). Staff will come and help you with the vending mahcine if you get stuck.

One of my favorite ramen places that I've tried! Very good and unique ramen broth that's made with beef bones.

Great little ramen shop in Osaka just off Shinsaibashi street. Decently priced and well portioned. I had the spicy beef bone ramen. The spice level wasn’t too intense and it had a really great flavor!

This isn’t a Michelin Star ramen place, but if you’re looking for good ramen at a decent price in a casual setting, this is a great place to go.

The spicy beef ramen is delicious. Soup taste is rich. Noodle texture cooked perfectly. I choose medium hardness. Onsen egg 🥚 yummy.
