Farm Restaurant Chiyoda

Upon reaching this restaurant, the waitress told us that we would need to wait for 40mins before dining, left our names and we proceed to explore the farm beside.

After we’re done with the farm, we went back to the restaurant and ordered a steak and Hamburg. There’s a QR code on the table where you can scan and order through there with English menu available too.

Waited for 15-20mins and the steak was wonderful. Very nice and loved it a lot. The Hamburg was average though. But the underdog was clearly the bread and butter. Please do yourself a favour and order the bread instead of rice. The bread was AMAZING, you won’t regret it.

When I paid for the meal, I casually asked the cashier whether is it possible to buy the bread and butter but unfortunately it’s home made and they don’t sell it, that was my only real disappointment from this place haha!

Came here for impromptu lunch and we were surprised by the quality of the food. All the food we ordered were really good👍we were given a ¥50 ice cream stall discount afterward and it’s the best ice cream we have had in Hokkaido🍦✨

This is one of the most favorite place i have been to in Hokkaido area. The farm is located in the middle of nowhere which was excellent. The freshness of the place really is so great. Less touristy area and not a lot of people come here. I consider this a hidden gem.

The food is amazing here. Local cooking style, farm style, and casual style. The selections of beef showcase the yumminess of Biei beef cooked in different style. You can also ask for a plate that features all the different cuts of the beef, or you can get japanese stew which is delicious. Always pair the beef with local Furano wine. Rose is best as I find red wine to be a little light, but still very good. If you dont like wine, just go for sapporo beer.

Definitely walk around the vicinity to see all the farm animals and play with them. They are mostly harmless. Just dont feed them random stuff. Do respect them and respect the japanese culture. I love the free range style farm. The llama looking animal is super cute. Take a selfie with him!

Most of the staff were very friendly too and the place is very clean.

Do buy some souvenir home. The biei beef jerky is an excellent choice. I love everything about this place. I must go back again!

Also if you are already on the way to Biei blue pond, you should stop by here. Its not too far at all.

I think this is the best Wagyu beef I have ever had. This is my second time be here. The farm is also a perfect location for kids to have fun! Kid activities: house riding, cow/sheep feeding, cow milking etc

Beef stew was amazing. The vegetables sweet, tender, the meat falls apart, and that sauce was so good I had to buy a packet home. Highly recommend it, one of our best meal in Hokkaido!

Their restaurant only serve beef dishes, there wasn't any other options for non beef eater.

Had the special cut biei beef for lunch here. I would say, one of the best beef for the price. It's about 5000-6000 yen. Will definitely come back again!

Good place for family especially for kids. The beefsteak dishes we tried there are very nice.

Clean food and good taste. An animal farm is opposite to the restaurant.

There are a few animals to entertain the kids. You can buy grass blocks to feed the shetlands, the sheep and goats. Carrots for the rabbits. There are also to feed milk to lambs and rice horses. Restaurant doesn't take reservations, apparently due to too many no shows. Gets a bit busy at lunchtime. Food is good
We had the steak variations, wagyu curry, wagyu stew, rib eye. All were very good. Milk good too. We bought some packets of the curry sauce to take away.

The farm is not too special. However, the quality of restaurant is good. It serves local Biei wagyu beef and local seasonal vegetable. The sauce for the steak is really good.

Go for the steak. It's one of the best I've tasted.

Very good quality of steaks at good price! Can't go there if you don't drive, pretty far deep in the woods. But worth the trip :)

Great place in Hokkaido to get away from Tokyo' summer.
Bring your kids so they can feed goats, milk a cow and other activities.
