We ordered 150g hamburg steak with rice, soup, and coffee set. Steak was outstanding, tender, and just nice, and sauce was addictive. Serving within 10 minutes upon ordering. 1800 yen per 150g serving. 5 stars

No.1 parfait was great. Ice cream was delicious, and fruits were so nice and great compliment. Great ending to a satisfied meal. 5 stars

We visit this place by chance and the food is surprisingly good. Love the onion soup. The ambient and service are also excellent. I would highly recommend this place!

Local restaurant serving a hybrid of Japanese/Western food.
The hamburger plates and spaghetti dishes come on a hot iron plate. All food is made fresh upon order. Expect to pay more due to the location. The service is efficient. English menu and information available.

We ordered pork chop, hamburg steak, omu rice and scallop macaroni gratin. The food was great especially pork chop and hamburg. Juicy and “al-dente”. I’m my opinion these are their specialities. Wanted to try their dessert but we were too full.
The decor is also warm and cozy with a nice European touch. Staff were friendly too!
As all food items are cooked when ordered do prepare to wait for them.

The Hamburg steak is moist and juicy, cooked excellently. The sauce is yummy. The scallop macaroni gratin is very creamy and taste delicious. Service is wonderful. The ladies are very friendly and helpful. There is English menu available and they accept credit card.

Warm atmosphere. It is one of my favorite home-cook style restuarant. 7 years never changed. Recommended! if you are not in hurry.❤

Had a impromptu dinner here as a family. We ordered gratin, pork chop and hamburg. All were delicious!

The place is quite dim and quite cramped, hence the 4 stars for atmosphere. Other that that it’s a really nice place to have a meal!

I realized the history of this place much later, but it's an establishment from 1950s run by the same family and the staff too have been there for many many years. Really friendly, accomodating and making you feel welcome. overlooking lake toya this was such a great find..extremely cosy once inside as well the menu was quite exhaustive. We had the winter special which was absolutely phenomenal and filling. For the veggie we got the potatoes and veg noodles (removes the scallops and made with mushroom), the meat noodles and chicken gratin were really great. The chicken with tomago rice was not the katsu curry but a demiglaced tomato sauce which was sweeter than I thought. But overallg great food and reasonable. The French onion soup was really great as well!

A popular dine out spot around lake toya. Pls ensure you go early. Open at 11, close at 4, last order at 3pm. Then reopen again at 5pm.

Love the cottage exterior. Food was good. Recommend to try the deep fried pork cutlet. It comes with rice, soup and your choice of beverage.

The place is uniquely decorated. Heard it has a long history. The waitresses were friendly and the food was great. Beef steak was soft and tender.
Pork cutlet was juicy and proportions was adequate.

Corn soup is very good. I drank 3 bowls. Scallop gratin is also good but lots of mushrooms take note for those who dislike mushrooms.

Long cue, and still need some patience till the dish is served. Tasty food guaranteed.

This place is a famous restaurant around Toya Lake. The foods also has really nice taste.

So I highly recommend this restaurant if you have a chance to visit Lake Toya and take some lunch in this place .

Great ambience and coffee. Good hamburger steak. Similar to the Ma Maison restaurant chain we find in Singapore.

Tried the hamburger steak, crab fried rice, scallop macaroni gratin, omu rice, cocoa, mocha, Vienna coffee. Mostly hits, but I suggest giving the gratin, omu rice and mocha a miss

Very good food! We were told that we would need to wait for 30-40mins but we got a table after 15mins. The food was excellent and tasty. Dessert was beautiful. Friendly staff.

Great location nearby Lake Toya cruising tour and pier, excellent food and services. Ice cream is a highlight! Main course has very big portion!

There will be a bit of a wait but you should certainly go! It took about 20 minutes for our food after ordering but the coffee from the set meal and a good conversation made that time fly bad. Taste was amazing. Especially the soup and the Hamburg steak.
