Hotel Épinard Nasu

The big hotel facility in Tohoku area. Based here you can go to numerous places in the vicinity. Here the nature is so deep and you can enjoy the change in colour of the nature. And the hotel itself is so nice and you can enjoy the good foods which are pretty delicious and of course the room is gorgeous and your enjoyment here is guaranteed!

Great value and family friendly

The buffet dinner was outstanding quality, especially as it was eat as much as you like. A good range of foods. The salad quality and diversity was excellent too.

Kids have their own buffet area too, at their height which is a thoughtful touch.

The spa also excellent. Probably the best I've been to in Japan of the 5 or 6 I've seen.

We found purchasing the room with dinner and breakfast included offered excellent value.

And the view of the mountain is excellent, weather permitting. Need a mountain-side room preferably on higher floor.

Room quality very good.

I certainly plan to come again.

However, the swimming pool requires one to wear a cap on head and caps are provided. The problem is that the largest caps provided are too small for my British, adult average-sized head and it hurt when wearing and someone is watching to make sure you wear cap, which is fine, except it totally ruins the experience.

So other than that, great hotel, and would still go again, but try to remember to bring swimming cap, or forget the swimming pool...

The restaurant staff were just lovely and the food was amazing we're was very pleased with our stay and will be back soon😉😘😄
Every staff are so helpful and so accommodating mostly while making hand made turkey mosaic lamp and power stone bracelet. great food, big rooms, good onsen, and my kids likes the pool... lots to keep you busy

Epinard Nasu is one of our absolute favorite places to stay at. Everything about this place - from the serene surrounding; close vicinity to most major spots in Nasu; the clean, comfortable rooms with fantastic view, the plentiful facilities, the friendly, helpful staff; to the mouth-watering buffet with a wild variety of food - is near perfection. Fancy yet never pretentious; classy but welcoming to all. We love it so much that we have decided to make it our yearly destination.

The only thing I really wish to see is if they can install more EV chargers to accommodate to the increasing demand - it would definitely make it more attractive for us as the ultimate stress-free stop.

Clean, Tasty, comfortable and this place is very good to rest with kids. There is nice pool to teach your kid for swimming. Buffet style breakfast and dinner so delicious and variety is good

Stayed overnight with family and kids. The hot spring area is beautiful and large. There is also a medium sized swimming pool for the kids to exert their energies. And dinner buffet was great. There is nothing much to do around the hotel

Hotel Epinard is a lovely hotel that has great views of the mountains in Nasu, Tochigi. The restaurants have great options, many of which have local ingredients. The staff are friendly and helpful. Some of the staff members speak very good English and were very accommodating for my level of Japanese.

Very nice onsen and buffet. Recommended!
It’s about 1 hour away from Hunter Mountain by shuttle bus, so a bit of distance. They offer interesting events like soba-making experience. Staff is very friendly and nice.

Love this hotel! Many activities and facilities~ Spa massage table tennis mini golf swimming pool...you name it~ Great breakfast buffet...
