Airando has a beautiful, laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food!

I’ve tried both the shrimp curry and pork tacos - both are absolutely divine. Airando takes local produce and serves it with a Fiji twist.

This restaurant serves both local and imported Fiji beer which goes great with the dishes. There is also fresh fruit juice for those who do not drink alcohol.

The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and will do their best to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

Though I’m sad this beautiful place is on the other side of the world from me, I’m grateful to have experienced it during my time in Okinawa.

BEST Curry restaurant ever!
I seldom like curry but I can say I love this Fiji curry.
Taco is very nice too! Ceviche is fresh and special. Ending with dessert made my day perfect.

Delicious, calm and strong enough Aircon plus a stunning window view of Kouri Beach.

All the food was Fujian!

Tacos were generous with the filling especially the meat!

Coconut chicken stew was delicious and had lots of vegetables and taro chunks.

Kids pizza was cheesy and a good enough portion for my 11 year old.

My wife and I didn’t realize that dinner was a 7 course set meal. We decided to stay and give it a shot because the food looked good. I can say without a doubt, this was the best dinner experience I have ever had. We were treated like first class and were told a story with each dish served. The service was amazing and friendly. The bottom line is that everything was great but the chicken stew and shrimp curry were out of this world. My complements go to the chef. If you are on Kouri Island I highly recommend you give this place to try.

Tried to make a reservation but there was no response. Decided to walk-in and managed to get a table for 6 for lunch. We ordered the lunch set. 4 had the curry shrimp, 1 had chicken stew and 1 had taco. Couldn’t go wrong with any of the set lunch. I had the curry shrimp and it was delicious. Curry was not spicy and I could taste the coconut milk

Vegan tacos were awesome❤‍🔥❤‍🔥 It made me realize why God created food for us to enjoy XD. Staff were so kind. The views for fire 🔥. Bathroom was clean and peaceful. They had organic lotion and soap that I couldn’t resist to buy. I came back another time for the vegan tacos. I LOVE. THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!

Great views and great food! We loved the tacos and they can make it vegan/ vegetarian which was great!! Don’t skip the dessert because it was delicious!! Coffee was also great! Lovely and kind service. Can only recommend 🥰🥰

Amazing restaurant with an amazing view. Even on cloudy days, it’s still a gorgeous view. The food is very fresh and light yet filling. Eddie, the restaurant owner, was very welcoming and made sure our drinks were always topped. Definitively coming back again soon.

Great food and atmosphere, iced coffee and tacos were really good, shrimp curry was fantastic!

The restaurant is located on a good spot. The pretty ladies serving there dress like Fijians and greet us, “Bula!”, when we entered the restaurant. They have some books about Fiji.

At first, we wanted pizza but they serve only for kids. So we just ordered the 3 main menus for each of us. I was trying chicken with coconut. First time trying Fuji Foods and the taste was Impressive. Thinking about it now and wanna taste it again.

My favorite meal during my time on Kouri Island! The tacos are incredible!

Today I had the pleasure to try the food of one of the best Fiji restaurants in Okinawa. With only few dishes in the menu, the food was amazing. I was even impressed by the quality of the wine trey had... Worth trying if you are in Okinawa.
A young couple, she’s Japanese and he’s from Fiji did a great job here! Well done guys! Definitely come back again...

Dining at Airando wasn’t just eating, it was an experience. The facility was immaculate and the staff was exceptional; the chef made a point of personally coming out to our table to explain each dish as they were served. We didn’t just feel like we were at a restaurant, it felt like we were a part of their family. Everything was personal. We could see them prepare the dishes with their own little personal style and flavour. It was also my birthday so they made a dessert plate for me and they all came out to sing me happy birthday. We got a free bottle of wine and packaged Fijian curry made by the head chef. He had just launched his brand. Oh wait, did I mention the view? Listen, make sure you visit Airando, the next time that you’re in the area.

Took my partner here for her birthday dinner and this is the only place throughout our entire week-long Okinawa vacation that she rated anything (and everything) a 10/10. Even though our hotel is an hour and a half drive away, she is considering coming back just to eat here again!! The only thing I would say is the menu doesn’t have much flexibility—We couldn’t additionally order the pizza option because it’s only for kids, lol. But the quality of the food and the friendly service is unmatched. My partner wants to go to Fiji now.
