Nikka Whisky Museum

Worth to visit when you are traveling within Otaru area, the facility is located within 10 mintues walking distance from JR Yoichi Station.

I am not a whisky drinker, but I cannot stop buying three bottles of different kind of whisky after the wine tasting session (the taste is too good)

You will find more interesting for visiting the facility. By the way, there is a restaurant and whisky bar inside the facility (0900 to 1530) > it is worth to spend a day over there.

Very nice and hospitable place with Japanese speaking guide. Great atmosphere too. Free entry with guide but need to make reservations online in advance.

This is where you go for paid tasting if you didn't manage to book for the guided tour. Around 10 minutes walk from the Yoichi station. Each visitor is allowed tasting up to three glass. Price varied based on the whiskey. Delightful and lovely staff. Apple wine in my opinion is way too sweet.

At the completion of the tour, don’t miss the museum on-site (where the tastings are). It is really well done, a modern facility with plenty of interesting exhibits. Would be worth coming here even if you don’t do the tour itself.

As far as whisky tastings, you are limited to 3 x choices. All the usuals on offer as well the distillery exclusives. Yoichi 10 variant tastings were sold out though.

Very informative museums. There’s a whiskey bar for tasting and the shop has a few limited shop only releases. Worth a quick visit. If you want to go on a tour, it’s best you book in advanced.

Nice and informative tour of the old brewery and warehouses. Learned a lot about history of Nikka founder and whiskey making. Free tasting of three sorts of whiskeys and paid tasting of premium and higher end whiskeys. Only down side was that one could not buy the premium whiskey at the brewery shop.

We just did the free tour and paid tasting it was fairly cheap to do the tasting and there was a cute stamp card and as you go through the tour you add more stamps and it completes a pic!

The museum is surprisingly engaging, but can be digested in about an hour. It offers tasting of whiskies not currently available on the market. We really wanted to do the distillery tour, but it was fully booked on the day we were passing through.

The factory tour required a reservation and if you are interested in distillery process, please make a reservation in advance. I heard that the tour is very good with different whiskey samples to try during the tour.

Free whisky and large factory to visit

申し込みが遅くて残念ながら見学ツアーに行くことは出来ませんでしたが、ウイスキーが出来るまで、創業者の足跡、熱い思い、夫婦愛など、ゆっくり楽しむ事が出来ました。
こちらでは、バーでウイスキーを楽しむ事が出来ます。
沢山の銘柄が少量からお値打ちに頂けます。
私は運転手でしたしウイスキーが得意ではないので飲みませんでしたが、家族はとても喜んで美味しいウイスキーを飲んでいました。
雰囲気もとても素敵なので、観光の一つに添えられると大人の旅に深みが増すと思われます。

後面這邊的博物館則不用預約就可以來

中間有試飲區，可以用相對小份量+價格品飲到不同威士忌
也有氣泡水、冰塊可以去除味道，也有常溫水方便稀釋
兼顧不同階段的客人皆可品飲

外面也有販賣余市相關的商品
特別買了小木桶的巧克力以後當裝飾
也有販賣一些工廠限定的威士忌種類
另外也有當地的葡萄酒，可以試試看

整體來說，威士忌迷可以在這非常開心
不太喝酒的也可以輕鬆參觀買紀念品

先週、帰省ついでに来ました。多分来たのは子供の時の見学以来かと。
かつて旅行関係の仕事をしていたので宮城狭はよく行ってましたが、ウイスキー好きになったのここ数年なだけに惜しい。
買い物ついでにミュージアムにもお邪魔。
案内なしの予約なしでもこれだけ見られれば来た甲斐もあったかと。
惜しむらくはレアものの有料試飲が出来ないこと。
機会があれば是非また…今度は試飲したい！

ニッカ４ブランド、「余市」「竹鶴」「ブラックニッカ」「フロム・ザ・バレル」の展示が見れます。奥には有料試飲コーナー「テイスティング・バー」がありリーズナブルな価格で複数のウイスキーを体験出来ます。ウイスキーボトルで歴史を表現した素敵なヒストリーロードなどもあり見どころ満載です！

竹鶴さんが夢に向かって進んできた道がここに詰まっています。ここに来ればきっとその熱い思いを感じることが出来るのではないでしょうか。
