Such a great art store managed to find the calligraphy dip nibs, ink, paint mostly Holbein, Winsor Newton and schminke and watercolor paper. They didn't have any of the notebooks I was looking for but a large range of arches, fabriano. It was great that it was accessible and had a lift. Lots of brushes but too many I didn't know where to start.

They had everything and more than I was hoping for and were so helpful. JP spoke perfect English which was helpful. Also wheelchair accessible bonus.

Was pretty easy to find the store. Oil paints and all its equipments is on the first floor with watercolour/gouache/acrylics upstairs with its other materials (paintbrushes, pads, retarders).

I was in love with the Holbein gouache as I’ve heard great things about it and I was able to score a handful for around $25AUD in total. The a grade colours (including primary colours) were around 233 yen per tube whereas the other colours ranged from 400-900yen. They also had the various Holbein ‘traditional colours of Japan gouache sets which is pretty cool and affordable if you’re travelling to Japan.

The man that was working stock that day spoke great English and was able to help me find visual art books easily whilst explaining to me which is best for what.

My favorite art material store, they always have a lot of things in sale. They also have online shop but the delivery is quite expensive and you cannot pay with a credit card. The payment in the store is only cash

Great value art supply items for a bargain, especially as a foreigner. I’m from the US where some gouache or watercolor suppliers like Holbein or Kuretake color sets are nearly double to triple what this shop is selling them at and this shop is selling items nearly 1/2 of what Amazon is offering. If you are a painter looking for Japan supplies, come here. They have acrylics and poster colors as well.

びっくりするほど画材が安いです。最高です。東京にここまで安くて豊富なお店はありません。絵描きは大阪行くなら絶対寄ったほうがいいです。ただし現金のみ。

行く時は2万くらい用意して行きます。ついつい大量に買ってしまう。

25年ほど前に、良く行ってました。あの頃はホルベインの品物は置いていませんでした。とにかく安いし品物が多いです。だいたいの物が3割引以上だったと思います。貧乏絵描きにはありがたいお店です。

かなりの品揃えでセール品などもあり、他店と比べても安いと思いました。
また利用させていただきたいです。
