Gwacheon National Science Museum

Highly recommended to every family especially to whom has kid.

Amazing collections and you can have all types of technology tours at one time.

Easy to arrive by MRT. Foods are also fine with fair price.

Pretty great place, Learn more about history and great for refreshing your knowledge.
Lots of kids so if you have any mini you take them it's great for them. They have a park in the back and a nice trail too.

great museuem with lots to keep the kids interested in. Dome displayed had only Korean explaining the exhibit but they had a Qr gode next to it vouls scan for English. there are some rides inside that need to be pre booked.

Such an inexpensive way to spend the day. So many interesting and interactive exhibits to enjoy. Really loved the focus and details on the future and forward-thinking.

A Science Museum located in Gwacheon-City with lots of interesting things to learn and experience. You may need to spend a full day to experience all. A paid parking is available and there is a subway access. Lots of young students and preschoolers on a fieldtrip to this museum. On the 2nd Flr, Foodcourt is available. On weekdays, smaller crowd were there so there is no wait time. Kids loved each hall with a variety of themes. Some exhibition may require reservation online to experience, so please check out its website.

FANTASTIC! So much to see and learn. Great for any science teacher and their students. All the basic physics are on display at interactive displays and demos. The Tesla Coil was under repair when I was there, but it's huge and looks awesome. After the museum closed we waited around outside for a couple of hours and went to the planetarium and observatory. Spectacular!

Huge amount of changing, kid-friendly content. Kids under 7 are free and adults are very cheap. Not very much English language description, but all staff and volunteers speak English. The food is OK and not over-priced. There are other huge parks outside of the museum. My planned 2 hour visit with my daughter turned into a 6 hour day.

Great museum for family trip! Have so many locker you can put your luggages, bags, or coats. Also you can lend stroller if you need one for free by dropping your ID/ passport. Most of the museum stuffs are interactive, using Kinect for gesture interaction or touchscreens. There are also thematic shows that happens every hour or 2. A lot of book to read in the waiting area. Spend a day only to finish the 1st floor (future tech science and basic science hall). There's also a nursery room for breastfeeding your baby if need one.

Super place.. you can spend the whole day there. A good variety of exhibits divided into sections. Interactive exhibits too. With areas for kids of all ages.

Perfect place for kids. Indoor and outdoor activities. There's so much too see just at the museum that it can be a little overwhelming if you don't plan your time accordingly.

Fantastic place for young and old! Exhibitions were great and there's a lot to do. Plenty of bathrooms everywhere! Food court and snacks available.

It’s national science museum with lots of interesting exhibits about broad area of science and engineering. On 1st floor there is a section with lots of hands on exhibits that kids really enjoy playing with. Unfortunately some of them are under repair. There are drone and fighter jet simulators.

It’s worth it to visit sometime. Also, the tickets are.. well priced, too.

Great museum,it need one day to see all attraction.

I was quite impressed with the size, variety, depth and wealth of all the scientific displays, demos, and hands on activities. The food court was also very good with tasty food and cleanliness. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and eager to assist. We spent about 4 hours here but was only able to see the exhibits in the main hall but still weren't able to see all of that either. If you want a full experience, allow yourself all day or perhaps a couple of days. There are other exhibits in separate buliding from the main hall we did not get to see. Hopefully we will return in the future to experience them.

Had a great time!!! Lots to see and super cheap entrance fees. Adults were only 4 bucks.

Place to educate your children with the science showcase and movies. The space is huge and well organized.

Amazing museum.. Don't miss it.. Especially if you have kids..

There are so many people here in weekends, so it's difficult to park a car. But it has lot of fun and educational stuffs for children and even for grownups. Movie inside the sphere theater is must-see.
