It's an awesome place! A must-visit destination with snow, mountains, beautiful landscapes, and picturesque views. I loved this place so much that I call it the Switzerland of Central Asia. It is a really beautiful spot to spend a day or more. There is even a hotel at the top. People come here for skiing in the winter. You can reach the top by a two-stage cable car.

I recommend everyone one to visit this place for a day out with the family. There are three stages to go by cable car. The first stop is the main attraction where you can enjoy your day by visiting many spot attractions and eat your lunch or dinner with variety of food. Important one is to climb the hill where in halfway you will come across a big round of snow where you will find lots of yaks. You can climb it but it’s very slippery!! I didn’t go to the second and third stage because I am allergic to height!!!!!!!😎

Despite the anticipation of an exciting ski getaway, the experience fell short due to extensive maintenance work and limited amenities. The closure of ropeway was particularly disappointing as it restricted access to higher peaks and panoramic views. The closure meant that we were limited to exploring level 1, accessible by car. While surrounding natural beauty was still evident, the incomplete state of resort with just couple of restaurants open to guests detracted from the overall experience.

Nice place to visit in Almaty. There are 3 telefrik to ride to reach the top. The first station has restaurants.
The weather was amazing on the top during end of June.

Can you also do sports activities comfortably

This is a very nice place to visit. The amount of snow I saw here was too much. I have never seen so much snow in my life as here. Me!

Excellent place, even a person who does not ski can enjoy snow thoroughly. The cable car ride is brilliant, its a relatively long ride. We need to take 3 cars to reach the top. After reaching the top you can do snow hiking and go near to a point which resembles a frozen waterfall, before going make sure you are wearing proper thermal wear because the snow at some places can be as deep as the waist. The second stop of the cable car station (where the ski slop ends) is an happening place, it has lot of restaurants and cafe's and the atmosphere is electrifying. This is a must visit place.

It was the second largest ski resort in Central Asia. There are 3 stages before you reach the peak. Everything was covered in ice, making it stunning and beautiful. Maybe in spring everything is green. We did the drone shot and the price is worth it.

I went 8 April 2024. It is my first time visit. I didn't feel cold, The weather so good and the snow hasn't melted yet. The ski mountains are majestic and beautiful. I love that they offer aerial drone videography and It's beautiful memories. This place has impressed me and created new and memorable friendships. This is a great place to visit at any time of the year. The air is clean, and it is nice to get out of Almaty dirty air. All world class restaurants and hotel facilities. The cable cars are very efficient. Come and visit this place in Kazakhstan.

With each level, the beauty of the surroundings left us spellbound, evoking a sense of peace and wonder. Simply, its a winter masterpiece.

I went at the end of April. It was warm enough that I didn't feel cold even wearing a short-sleeved shirt, but the snow hadn't melted yet. It's said to be one of the seven mountains of the world, and it truly was stunning and majestic. If it's your first time visiting, I highly recommend taking the cable car to the summit.

Best experience of my life enjoying the snow drizzle over me as I took the open cable . It was minus 3 and I was frozen as I didn't have appropriate winter clothing. But was superb fun.

Amazing place to visit and enjoy snow. I visited in May there was snow in the mountains one thing that amazed me was the climate was absolutely awesome, it wasn’t too cold but cold enough to enjoy the snow.

Great palce. We visited when it was fully covered in snow. The cable cars are nice and comfortable. The coffee shops are also good. And the views are just amazing. Definitely a must visit if you come to almaty.

Late post after travelling for 2wks n back home. It was indeed an awesome 3 cable car rides to the top station Talfar pass. Weather was bad and windy but we enjoyed every second in all 3 stations. Can't get enough to slowly enjoy the surrounding with more pix taken. 1 of the best ski resort ever visited.

Ski resort which is accessible by cable car from the Medeu valley below. It also has got a ski school for beginners. You can hire ski boots, helmets, goggles as well. Good cafes are also available up there if you need a bite.

Awesome Place. It's a must visit. You can spend good several hours here. The ski season ends in April, so plan your visit accordingly.

We visited in winter minus 16 & freezing wind. But great fun as we had to change lifts three times to get to the top where the snow views were great. Also on the way down views over the large ice rink stadium.

Best highlight of my Almaty trip. Definitely worth a visit. Worth multiple visits. The cable car fares are cheap. Very easy to reach from Almaty city centre. What a view from Tier 1. Even Tier 2 and Tier 3 are great! The lowest Tier 3 has multiple restaurants and cafés to choose from. I had lunch in Paul. Reasonably priced. You can do skiing or take drone shots and photos. You can easily spend 4 to 6 hours total. I simply loved the experience. 👍
