Qyrgy Bazar (Центральный Верхний рынок)

It is the best local market in Shymkent city. Everything is cheaper than in normal shops and even supermarkets. You can find anything here, like shoes, clothes, gifts, vegetables, groceries, etc. Tailor shops and cobbler shops are also here. So if you are an Indian student, you should definitely come here; you will find everything cheap. Don't spend your money in expensive supermarkets. I come to this market twice every month, and believe me, it's worth coming all the time. You can even find chai, masalas, and dry fruits here.

The vendors are super kind and even if you don't know the language they will not take advantage of you for being a tourist! Very pleasant experience 😍 It's a must see 😁
