😌 Lovely spot in Anuradhapura! Came here a few times :)

😋 Had Kottu and juice the first time and then I had vegetables/rice and the fruit salad for dessert, all very tasty!
A clean place and a relaxed atmosphere!

🌱 Not a super amount of vegan options, be sure to check the Kottu if you order it (ask about cheese). However, the food I had was tasty and I believe the veg and rice is both vegan and gluten free :)

I went to this restaurant as my travel book was mentioning a cosy place with excellent food (which is indeed the case). I have been pleased by the friendly and very helpful staff. I can only recommend this restaurant!

The food was very good, it was the best meal I had in Sri Lanka! I went with a group of 16 people and service was fast and all dishes were as we ordered. Price was good for what we got, considering as well that the portions were very big! The staff was also very considerate and, as we are foreigners, they asked what was the spice level for every dish. Really recommend

We, a party of two, were greeted warmly and received attentive service throughout the duration of our stay.
Our two dishes, a coconut curry and vegetable curry, were spicy, fresh and full of flavor.

Lovely restaurant. Had a great vegetarian curry and vegetable rice. Good hygiene standards...brought wet towels prior to serving. Attentive waiter. Decent portions. Calm atmosphere.

Great food experience in Anuradhapura, polite service. We tried the string hoppers veggie version and vegetable kottu, both were very delicious, and the juices as well.

Fantastic!! Highly recommend!! My sister and I found this place on Google Maps and we are so glad that we did! It is the best meal we have had so far in Sri Lanka. We had a chicken coconut curry and a vegetable curry with pumpkin and potato sides. The food was so delicious😝 and the service was great. 10/10

If there is such a thing as “restaurant umami” avid cooks will know what I mean this one is it. Other reviewers have mentioned how good the food is and the service and I agree. When I came in I was so hot ( Sri Lanka hot sun) I ordered a beer and water. Before the goods were served I got ice cold towel which they offer to all customers as they cool off and fans are everywhere. Awesome touch. cold. With my side order of fries ketchup was on side and I asked for hot sauce and was told they have tobasco upon which I frowned but said ok. The sauce I got instead was nice green chili sauce freshly made. Great customer service. Food portions are huge. The only negative thing was that i was charged 1,580 rupees for side order of fries which was higher than another main dish that came with fries. My fries were not that much. I chalk it up to server not knowing what to charge as side fries was not on menu. Just give this place a try.

We had the best food of our trip in Sri Lanka here!! We ordered the Palhena special and it was just delicious! Dumidu gave us a profesional service and we had an amazing experience 😊

Great place to go to if one's expecting local cuisine. All their fruits and vegetables are organically grown. The food smelled so good and it all tasted so delicious, that I forgot to pause to take pictures even...
What I loved the most is the environment and atmosphere they had going with authentic bits and representatives pieces which reflect the historical farming culture of Sri Lanka.
Staff were really hospitable and helpful. Thank you so much for taking into consideration our requirements! We'll visit again and recommend for anyone!

Really nice staff, gorgeous simple, delicious food and nice atmosphere and garden. Would surely recommend if you are looking for good, quick service and nice traditional Sri Lankan food in good portions.

I ordered cream chicken soup, Sweet corn chicken soup and special mix chopsuey rice. it was really worthy and super tasty too.

Very good vegetable cheese kotthu and vegetable noodles. Also try the pineapple juice. So tasty. The people are very friendly and make you smile. We can only recommend.

A great place. We had kottu and fried rice. Food was tasty and no artificial flavours added. I recommend this place to anyone.

Nice restaurant arrangement and a cosy atmosphere.

We ordered ice cream as a dessert and my grandmother did not want ice cream at night. Staff provide a free fruit platter for her.

Delicious Sri Lankan food. Friendly staff. Excellent service. The environment is really nice and nature friendly. Among all the restaurants we have tried around Anuradhapura this was the best place. Hope to come back again to try new dishes.

One of the few good places for food in the city. Nice curries (and way more) and very kind staff. Would definitely go again. Slightly more expensive in comparison to other places.

Incredible food. We had the roti pol and mixed vegetable curry. The dhal was the best I’ve ever tried. Big portions and great service too.

My husband and I had dinner here this evening! The food was delicious! I had the string hoppers with Dahl and potato curry- the coconut sambal was very tasty! My husband had the vegetable Kothu which was also great! The service was excellent! Highly recommend
