Bedda Eco Cottages

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved it here! Needless to say, the environment is incredible : beautiful view , peaceful nature, etc.

But also , the owner was fast on his feet to accommodate all of our needs , food was great and pretty healthy (we were also treated to local tea and coffee and to traditional dishes which was tasty and interesting to try) , and the rooms were clean, in good condition, and aesthetically pleasing :)

If you want to enjoy the peaceful country vibe of Sri Lanka - this is the place to do it :)

We came from Ahungalle via transfer. We wanted to spend some time in the rainforest and thats exactly what we got. The Hut is very clean, warm water, WiFi, and jungle feeling by the river. The food was delicious and the people wonderful and welcoming. Fair prices and all natural.

Very nice place. Hotel manger was very friendly and provided us awesome service.

Meals were excellent, contain curries unique to Sri Lankan southern village side.

Place is very calm and quiet though it is just meters away from the road, only sound which could here hear was the river and birds. Cottages facing river ideal for having cup of tea while sitting on the nice comfortable bench and watch water flow on the river

Got very good WIFI signal strength. I am looking forward to have a working holiday at this place.

Lovely place to come and unwind. There are two cabins in the site, hidden away amoungst trees. Both of them have their own private porch/decking overlooking the river. Cabins have airconditioning and decent WiFi.

Away from the busy tourist trail, this is a true gem of a place that will let you experience Sri Lanka in a unique way. The owners have put in great effort to provide that experience with lots of little detail that come together to form a quiet, cozy setting with everything you need.

Nihal, the chef here, is incredibly social and will take care of all your needs but gets out of the way and let you enjoy your freedom.

I will be coming back here for sure.

Love the neat little cottage and the owner plus the cook. The owner drove us to Sinharaja where we took a tuktuk up and then did a trek for ~3.5 hours. The cook's skills are amazing, his rice with curry and his sandwiches for our trek were the best! Love this place, definitely try to book this place. You will wake up to sounds of the rainforest!

Beautiful place with the scenic views of the river. Food is fine and the hospitality of the staff is awesome. It is a superb location for the guests with the yummy food.Still have the memories of the splendid breakfast with "Malu Ambul Thiyal"

Brilliant place to stay. Great food, lovely scenery, amazing people. Bathing in the Rocky river in front of the cottages was one of my best experience in life.

It was a really calm & quite sorrounding with a beautiful river view 😍 And the cottage stay was soo comfortable with all the facilities including delicious food 😍😋I highly recommend this cottages for a cool vacation😍
