Hotel Millenium

Nice Small hotel within the vicinity of the ‘Nuwara wewa’. From the hotel, the three sacred stupa ‘Ruwanweliseya’ , ‘Jeethawanaramaya’ and ‘Mirisawetiya’ can be seen over the water’s edge of the ‘Nuwara wewa’. Both AC & Non AC rooms are available.

It’s run by a local family. The owner is a young, kind heated and helpful person. During the discussion I had with him, he didn’t even ask for an advanced payment. I wanted to have an AC room for six members and he was very flexible on that request. The room rate was very reasonable.
We had a great welcome. The room was clean and had adequate facilities, all the basic needs were there with AC. In our room, we didn’t see a TV , Hot water facilities or WiFi, for which we didn’t bother at all. There were enough spaces to our kids to play.
The place is managed by the hotel owner’s mom. She was very kind and hearlty spoken. She even prepared the ‘Kiri Aahara Dhaanaya’ for us. We only had to scrape coconut. If you wish to cook your own meals, there is a kitchen for that.

Nice place near the Lake. Nice food good service. Food is awesome. The owner is very nice and helpful. Most importantly the place is adjoining a huge lake 'Nuwara Wewa'. There are cabanas where you can have your food and relax. Alshashen dog is the guardian 😉😉😉🤣🤣🤣. Parking is available. The location is in Dambulla Anuradhapura main road. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast is Sri Lankan 🇱🇰 . Anuradhapura sacred city is 4 kilometers away and Mihintale is 6 kilometers away. The lake is beauty in the night as you could see the Stupa in Anuradhapura from here. You can see Ruwanwelisaya and Abhagiriya temples through the lake. Nice staff and nice stay.
