Kingdom gate hotel Anuradhapura

I stayed at Kingdom Gate for 3 nights whilst I explored Anuradhapura and Dambulla. The home stay has a great location because it is very near to the station and an easy walk to the town centre/ old bus station. The family are absolutely wonderful and look after me really well. The breakfasts are excellent with plenty of food and nicely presented. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean with a good shower. The area is very quiet and it’s nice to sit out in the dining area and listen to all the bird life. Their house is really lovely with nice plants everywhere. I really enjoyed staying here and it’s incredibly good value. The family also washed my clothes and let me use a bicycle to explore ancient Anuradhapura.

Very good hotel. Friendly staff. Calm surroundings. Most importantly it is very close to the railway station. You can hire a bike also if you need to travel around the city. Recommending for all.

Very nice and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Hot water facilities and clean bathroom and 2km from train station nice location.they should put a small table and few chairs in the room

Kamer was groot en schoon. Douche met grote straal warm water. Ontbijt was heerlijk, op terras met fantastisch uitzicht. Mensen zijn gastvrij en vriendelijk. Ik heb begrepen dat ze aan het uitbreiden zijn, dus volgend jaar meer kamers en een zwembad. En dat alles op loopafstand van treinstation en centrum.
