I had an amazing stay at The Rich Resort and Restaurant, a delightful family-owned hotel in Mihintale, Sri Lanka. It's perfectly located for exploring the area, and the hospitality is top-notch. Wimal, the father and owner, is not just a fantastic host but also an excellent driver who can show you all around the island. The rooms strike a perfect balance between comfort and local charm, being super clean and cozy. Dining at their restaurant is a treat, with a fantastic variety local dishes. The entire place feels relaxed with a friendly vibe that really makes the stay worth it. I highly recommend it for a truly memorable and comfortable experience in Mihintale!

Best place to stay in Anuradhapura Mihintale.
Nice welcome, Great location. Rooms were very clean and confortable. Good air con,wifi was very speed. Breakfast and dinner was excellent.

Beautiful Place

Очень приятный небольшой отель. Владельцы в присущей ланкийцам средней части Острова манере очень волновались по поводу нашего приезда, писали, спрашивали все ли у нас хорошо :) По прибытию нас угостили чаем с печеньем, чуть позже приготовили жаренный рис, хотя было уже довольно поздно. Номер был охлаждён и обработан от москитов. Все белье очень чистое :) но примите ко вниманию, что там довольно шумно :)

Wimal et sa famille nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux et fraternel. La propreté de Rich Resort Restaurant
est irréprochable, les chambres sont spacieuses, les petits déjeuners copieux et une excellente cuisine Sri, Lankaise est proposé pour les diners, le tout pour un excellent rapport qualité prix.
Wimal et son tuck tuck nous attendaient à la gare de train à notre arrivée et nous ont déposé à la station de bus pour le depart, un plus pour un prix raisonnable.
Nous avons visité avec
son tuk tuk tout le site d'Anuradhqpura sur un parcours qu'il nous a concocté sur une journée . II nous a organisé la visite du site de Mihinthale et du parc de Wilpattu (beaucoup trop de jeeps).
Wimal facilite le séjour et sait rendre facile ce qui pourrait être compliqué.
Une excellente adresse pour visiter les sites des environs.

Super netter, aber auch geschäftstüchtiger Betreiber. Er hat jede Menge Informationen rund um Minitale. Sein eigenes Tuck Tuck kann für Ausflüge gemietet werden. Essen ist lecker. Zimmer sind ein wenig laut. Im eigenen Lädchen kann man Kleinigkeiten des täglichen Bedarfs kaufen.

如果有來Anuradhapura或Mihinthale一定要來住這裡，由很熱情可愛的一家人所經營，房間有冷氣很大很新很乾淨舒適，wifi及熱水都很好，收費合理，物超所值

We had a great stay at Rich Resort. The rooms are very clean, the family is super nice and the food is delicious (special thanks to Wimals wonderful wife)! Wimal the owner showed us a lot of really nice places around Mihintale and Arunadhapura. There are just two minor things: the rooms are quite different in terms of loudness, try to get the bigger room in the back, the noise is still there but much better. Wimal is a real businessman which can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. We spend in the end much more money than we planned too. All in all still a absolute recommendation!
