The ‘Sunflower’ is a restaurant situated in the heart of Balagolla, near to BOI (in front of the Balagolla Filling Station), on the Kandy - Mahiyangana (A26) road. Their Mix Fried Rice are absolutely incredible!

Overall: A small local restaurant with good service, food. One of my favourite restaurants in the area. The meals were served rapidly and the rates were reasonable for the portion size.

Service: The service was above average. The staff does a good job of describing anything on the menu.

Food: Very tasty and well prepared and you can choose among many menu options (bit spicey).

Price: Reasonable.

Cleanliness: Acceptable.

Ambience: The restaurant is well maintained and clean.

Parking: Can park 4 to 5 vehicles.

I'd recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family.

I ate the best mixed fried rice I have ever eaten from this place. it was worth every rupee. food is very good and affordable! I eat from this place every time I go to Pallekele

Digana is a village in Sri Lanka. It is located within Central Province, between Kandy and Teldeniya on A26 road. It is known for its dolomite mineral. Philanthropist Alhaji Azeez Muhammedh Rauf introduced dolomite to Sri Lanka. There are several dolomite industries in Digana. After submerging Teldeniya, Digana became the popular alternative town to all neighbourhoods. The population is around 2000 families living in a multi-ethnic community. source
