A place that you need to visit whenever you are in Līvāni. You will not only get to know a historical background of the city, but also a spectacular view to river Daugava. Last, but not least, if you ever wondered how glassblower works, you can witness it here.

This is an unforgetable experience! Every person I met there made my day - the glass blowers, the guide; Elza- the former manager of Livani glass factory who now is a keen weaver still living in momories about the glass factory, knowing every detail about the products, her fellow weavers who create beautiful natioal skirts, scarves, carpets. The museum is located by the river Daugava. The superb landscape in different shades of green and and blue and grey...A small outdoor cafe by the parking lot offers coffee, soft drinks, wafers and crepes. Grab a paper glass with coffee, sit on a bench or a rock, relax and watch the clouds pass by in the mirror of thd river...

Very interesting museum. One part is Latvian folkmuseum, other part about Livani glass factory history and production exhibition.
