I've been living here for several years. La comer is my favorite supermarket in San Miguel. From cat food to bean sprouts, import goods and meats, they got it all. Wednesday sale day is the best also! Most reliable supermarket in town, and good customer service. While City Market is supposed to have everything, many items aren't sold there while La Comer does. Today I found these huge green grapes from the states!

Fantastic store where you can find everything from automotive parts to furniture to appliances to food to alcohol. Staff is friendly and easy to find. Clean store. Excellent Shopper Marketing and signage. Good prices. Safe place to park your car. Tip the attendant 5pesos! Very much recommended.

It's a good shopping expensive. It caters to Mex and Expats . It has a food court cafeteria and a nice coffee bar indoors. A real upscale pharmacy. Like Most grocery stores today it has a wide variety of things from clothing to garden supplies. If you're an organic buyer you can find most anything you want. If not there, their sister store City Market, has five or six major isles of nothing but organic food. That store is very upscale with everything under one roof. From an oyster bar to an aroma therapy store unique. Texans love this store.

It’s the Super Store of SMA..go early am to avoid crowds. Lots of cash registered but never enough cashiers!

Nice, well-stocked grocery store in San Miguel, offering many familiar items. Very nice fresh produce, albeit more expensive than the local markets. Fresh and frozen meats and seafood. Wines and beer, fresh bakery. An "Albertson's" experience.

They have pretty much everything here like Walmart but better from car parts to camping gear, fresh fruits, meats, wine, pharmacy, toiletries and so forth. There is a small McDonald's too.

A Supermarkets "Super Market" This place has it all! From high quality store food items to a great bakery and expresso services plus electronics to even motorcycles and much more! It isn't cheap unfortunately but it's mere existence here compared to when I first entered this town more than five decades ago is absolutely amazing! You will feel like you are in your own hometown market...only in some ways it's better!

Beautifully run, extensive, deluxe supermarket, I'd compare the fish, meat, veg. departments to Any I've seen in the US or Canada. A fun place to shop, excellent staff.
Been told baggers don't receive pay, so they are counting on your tips. Be as generous as you can.

Wide assortment hot dish deli, refrigerated milk, toilet paper, and tires. What more could you ask for?

La Comer is a good place for finding many food, pharmacy, hardware, and household items and appliances. They keep good inventory, and have good seasonal offerings and many imported and USA products. Imported and USA items are often expensive, (as in most of Mexico.) But they (and affiliated City Market, across the street) often have import items that expats may seek out.

The produce, meat, deli, liquor, wine and bakery are well supplied. There is an in-store ice cream stand, and a restaurant.

They even sell tires, and, sometimes sell motorcycles and ATVS.

Customer service is very good. If you have trouble finding something, the workers on the floor will help you find stuff, either telling you where it is, or walking you there.

For people with Spanish as a second language, it helps to know the Spanish names for products when shipping, and to know a bit of Spanish, such as "Perdóname, se vende huevos?" (Excuse me, do you sell eggs?)ñ I carry a shopping list app with Spanish and English names for items, along with photos, and rarely have trouble expressing myself and getting help.

If you smile often, ask for help politely, add in a few "Buenos Días/buenas tardes, cómo estás? por favor, y gracias" it helps.

La Comer has good sale prices, and occasional quantity discounts.

Prices are sometimes not as good as corner product, meat, tortilla makers, or bakeries, but having everything under one roof is convenient.

I still shop at local tiendas for convenience, but make my occasional big shopping trips to la comer, HEB in Querétaro, or Costco.

Excellent range of products. Service at cash slow. Packers are so-so. Parking very good and attendants are friendly.

La Comer is an easy to navigate grocery store, even for those of us whose Spanish isn't... great. The prices are extremely fair and the quality is good. I appreciated seeing some brands I recognized, too! In addition to groceries, there's an electronics department, a cel phone kiosk, a little café, and four, different ATMs, if you need cash.

Highly recommended for everyone 😊

I'm vegetarian so I visit this place every day.
Tons of domestic and international foods.
They also carry a good selection of wines and international beers.
TVs, appliances, knick knacks, some furniture, clothes, exercise equipment.
Great place, nice environment, helpful staff

La Comer has come a long way since the Mega days. Very pleasing atmosphere and the variety has expanded where you can find most things. Very happy!

This is a great store and has a large variety of products. The produce is great, and there are a lot of imported items. The meat and cheese, and bakery depts are also good. It's like a low key City Market.
