Agave Liquors Sayulita

We walked in for our first time ever in sayulita and Freddy was there to help us! His English was very good and made us feel welcome from the get-go. We sampled various liquors based on our preferences as he explained to us the history and differences between each type of agave spirit (tequila, mezcal, raicilla, sotol, etc). He gave us a few extra tastes based on our interests and what we wanted to buy. After our tasting, he gave us some recommendations for places to eat around town that were amazing! He made our first trip to Sayulita start of on a great foot with a little help from some tequila :)

Wonderful experience, did a small tasting of tequila and mezcal. Gabriel was very friendly and knowledgeable. He curated an experience that was a lot of fun and informative. Left me with a new appreciation for mezcal and might be my favorite spirit out of Mexico now. Definitely recommend.

Edgar was very helpful and extremely knowledgable when it comes to the spirits of Mexico. The liquor store had the best selection of agave spirits ranging from tequila, mezcal, raicilla and sotol…and many more local products. Drinking your education is the only way to go. I will definitely come back and tell my friend an about this place.

Walked into the location in Sayulita today for a tequila tasting. Angel was working the store today and was really knowledgeable, courteous and the conversation was good. The tequila selection great and the styles varied more than my newbie tastes expected. I love me some tequila and was impressed. Tomorrow I'm going back for a Mezcal tasting, the selection seems even better than the tequila!

Gabriel was an incredible host. I really appreciated his stories of personal experience with the various distilleries and his deep knowledge of the distinctions between the various spirits. We had a lot of fun tasting everything and learning about culture and history along the way.

We casually walked in and Angel was so helpful right off the bat! Not only did we chat about Mezcal, but futbol too! He was so knowledgeable and did a few tastings to help me narrow down my selections. He even suggested some local spots to enjoy dinner and watch a match. If you're looking to try small batch tequila, mezcal, even vodka, this is the place to go!

Angel helped us with choosing tequilas. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. We bought more than we originally wanted, but it was all so delicious we couldn’t pass any of them up.

Excellent customer service, and high quality Mezcal. I was able to call and have a bottle delivered to some friends staying nearby and Agave Liquors was able to accommodate over the phone. Highly recommend

Great selection of artesenal mezcales and tequilas. Gabriel is very knowledgeable about both. It’s was a pleasure to taste and discuss with someone who truly understands and cherishes the beauty of agave distillates.

Wow, check out Agave Liqours. Daniel and Julien were great! We were staying inside the gates of punta mita, they were very responsive and met us just outside the gates with my 4 bottles. Super safe, Covid protocols followed. Will definitely be back! Bravo!!!

Super knowledgeable staff guides you toward what you like by letting you taste all the goods. They've got a lot of really premium, really rare bottles. Hit this place up for some mezcal to drink while in town and a nice bottle of tequila to bring home.

Very knowledgeable owner offered us a great discussion of the different varieties of mezcal along with generous tastings of each style. Ended up picking up a couple bottles for a good price.

Best place to get your liquor in town. Knowledgeable staff and much better prices than other liquor stores we visited.
