We had an awesome experience here. We wanted a fancier last dinner of our trip and they nailed it with drinks, dinner and dessert. We had a burrata appetizer pizza, my husband had octopus and I had red snapper. The flan was delicious and the passion fruit margarita is to die for!

The Pizzas are on point with a crispy thin crust Italian Style. Pizze are enough to share among two or for people with a big appetite maybe in addition to an appetizer. I highly recommend the Pizza Del Mar. The seafood is super fresh and in combination with the pesto and cheese overall delicious.

Our fav restaurant in Sayulita! The food was absolutely amazing!

Breakfast was fantastic, as well as dinner! We had dinner here twice!

The pasta, pizza and apps were all amazing!

Def try the pizza with the shrimp and avocado- I know it sounds weird but it was one of the best pizzas of my life!!

The grilled ceasar was also amazing- my husband has never had a grilled lettuce salad before but he really enjoyed it! The fried shrimp and the sauce it comes with is also 10/10. Everything is 10 truly!

The only negative thing I can say is the wine is SUPER over priced. They poured my gfs glass and I thought it was a joke. It was like 3oz for $15usd and this is house wine. I simply cannot justify that.

I saw this place while wandering around the plaza. The pizza crust is paper thin, just like in Italy. All the ingredients tasted fresh. We had a table inside near a fan, but right at the sidewalk to enjoy the street entertainment and people watching. The waitstaff, like most places in Sayulita were very accommodating.

I am so glad we decided to try La Rustica while on vacation in Sayulita. Word to the wise that it gets busy and when we went it must have been prime dining time. The wait was 40 minutes, however we opted to sit at the bar and eat so we didn't have to wait at all in the end. I also love to watch bartenders in action so we also got entertainment while waiting on our dinner.

Although it seems this restaurant is known for their pizza, all three in our party decided to pick something from the pasta list. We also got the roasted artichoke to share. Everything was amazing. I got the pesto pasta w/chicken dish and oh my gosh I could've eaten a bowl of the pesto cream sauce all by itself. My husband and son both got different seafood pasta dishes and raved about them as well. The pricing was in line with the quality of the food. They also take credit cards which is few and far between in Sayulita so that was nice to be able to save our pesos for cash only establishments.

I would 100% recommend this restaurant if you want to do a different cuisine. I must say I was impressed with the range of restaurant and food offerings in Sayulita. For foodies, I think you will find a lot of great places to eat at.

Excellent food and service. We ended up coming here twice throughout our trip. One night it was quiet but the last night we came it was quite busy. I would recommend looking into reservations if you’re interested in dining between 7-8 PM - just to be safe. The pizza is awesome, specifically the La Sayulita. I also had a pasta dish which was great.

It was an okay pizza and appetizers. It could it been better if they treat everyone the same. We got 2 plates that they were old as my grandma. Had to ask them for better plates other people got much better service. And we had to evacuate because the next building was on fire. FYI you had to scan the menu on the phone. This one they only place that accept cards

One of the more high end restaurants in town. Italian focus but has other offerings. Pizza was great. Cocktails were way fancy. Wasn’t a big fan of the pastas. The fire grilled Cesar salad was great and the so were the meat balls. The entire staff speaks English if you need/want that.

Always a great experience here. The pizzas are very unique and the catch of the day was so fresh.

The chicharron with the guacamole was fantastic, Great appetizer.

The espresso martini and the jamaican margarita were stunning!

One of my favorite places in sayulita. More expensive by local standards, but inexpensive by us standards. Service was great, as was the atmosphere. The popcorn shrimp were amazing, I enjoyed the marlin tacos and the pizza was solid. Plenty of space, clean bathrooms.

My friends and I made a quick day trip to Sayulita on our visit to Puerto Vallarta. I had heard the food scene here was good and I was not disappointed.

La Rustica is near the center of town and not far from the beach. There is ample seating that is both indoors and outdoors. However, the indoor seating is pretty airy so it was nice getting out of the hot sun. We had a corner seat at the front of the restaurant that was great for people watching and for the local street vendors to stop by to sell us their wares. For fun, we even hired a local street musician to play us some songs while we ate.

The food and service here is excellent. We were craving pizza and this is one of the best pizza joints I've been to anywhere. If you are looking for sloppy, greasy pizza then look elsewhere. The pizza here had just the right proportions of sauce, cheese and toppings. The crust was thin, light and tasty. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were exquisite. The mixed drinks here are delightful and so worth it. For 3 pizzas and drinks to feed 5 people our tab came to 800 pesos. A great deal in my opinion.

So if you want some tasty drinks and pizza I highly recommend stopping by here on your next visit to Sayulita.

This place is so good we ate here three times during our stay! The pastas we're incredible. They are all handmade and the different sauces soooo good! We had the Trufa and added shrimp (my favorite), the penne pesto, the shrimp scampi and all were phenomenal. Brick oven style pizzas were good too, we had the Al pastor. Appetizers were all great too. The ahi tuna app was so fresh, the fried shrimp were great, the oysters Rockefeller we're delicious but dare I say too cheesy? I never thought I'd use those two words together but nonetheless delicious. Margarita's are a little pricey but oh so good too. Definitely try the passion fruit margarita, I kept coming back for that one! The place is clean and they have lots off fans keeping it cool. The service is absolutely on point everytime we went. Servers that weren't even our recognized us and greeted and welcomed us back. This is a MUST GO TO PLACE!

Incredible! Also, very affordably priced, and tremendous value.

The BONITA salad is incredible! I love it and could eat it forever!

The TRUFA pasta is amazing! I wish I knew how to make that

Fries were good, and pizza was good as well

This was some of the best pizza, if not the best I’ve ever had. The margs and other cocktails we had were also amazing. It’s expensive for the area, similar price you would pay in the US, but it’s worth it if you want one of the best pizzas you’ve ever had.

Without a doubt my favorite place to eat in Sayulita. The food is delicious! There are vegetarian options. Everything is fresh and affordable. If you are watching your pesos be aware the specialty cocktails are wonderful but also cost as much as some of the entrees.

We had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, and I was worried it would be oversold. However, we had an awesome experience. We took eight people here, both kids and adults. Our server was wonderful, and our craft drinks were delicious! We had a great table outside and heard a mariachi band that went by while we were dining. The pizzas were absolutely delicious - everything I had hoped. The two vegans were happy with their food. My sister-in-law is still talking about the beet salad. The craft lemonade was a table favorite!
