Banderas Bay Medical Services: Dr. Jose Luis Chavez Quevedo

Suffered a pretty nasty lip injury which required stitches. Awkward and difficult but Dr. Chavez was amazing. Kind and patient he did a great job stitching me up and I am grateful that I was able to visit him. Price was very reasonable all things considered and only for the Doctor I would be in a lot more trouble. The staff were also great, Nurse Itzel was very professional and helped to put me at ease with her friendliness and helpful nature.

Sliced my foot wide open on a razor sharp rock while surfing. I haven’t been injured while travelling before so I was apprehensive and in a lot of pain. Instantly I knew I was in good hands here. Was taken in and seen by the nurses and doctors right away. All the staff spoke very good English and were very friendly. This place was honestly amazing. Despite the injury, it was a pleasant experience. And wasn’t TOOO expensive all things considered

Dr. Brandon and Dr. Chavez, might be the best doctors you will ever meet. Great diagnosis, absolutely amazing. Quick relief medicine and off you go. If you could find doctors in the USA like this, our medical crisis would be over. I’ve travelled the world…these guys are incredible.

Best doctors in town. All around amazing care and kindness from doctors, nurses, and staff. They know what they are doing and took me from very sick to 100%. The doctors speak great english and are very thorough to find the correct problem to treat. Other places in town scam for lots of money and they are reasonable on price here and work with insurance. Can’t recommend enough. I wouldn’t want to go to any other doctor and they have a pharmacy on sight if you need medication you can get it right there. Thank you!!

My boyfriend Josh experienced a severe case of food poisoning on our fourth night in Mexico. Some quick research brought up BBMS and we called. Orlando made a house call for us to our Airbnb and arrived within an hour. He was amazing and so nice, and the Back to Life full IV package set Josh up in no time. Amazing how much better he felt. I would have no hesitation to use these guys and it’s worth ANY price.

My wife I and both had food poisoning and had been very sick for a day, and needed to fly home. We were on the verge of canceling our flight. On her recommendation, our property manager called Dr. Chavez and and asked him to come to our condo. He and a nurse arrive shortly and gave us two IVs. One with with medication to help us feel better, and one with vitamins and fluids. After the two hours of IVs we did indeed feel much better - well enough to fly.

Very easy walk in clinic, we waited an hour. Doctor was very kind and helpful and spoke good English. Was about 750peso for consult and 3x medications

I am so grateful that other people left reviews to share how wonderful Dr. Chavez is. I ended up getting Covid pretty severely in Mexico and I am convinced that being under the care of Dr. Chavez saved my life. Hopefully you won’t need him for anything as serious but if you do, know you are in good hands!! He’s kind and very professional.

The host of our Air BnB recommended Dr Chavez. My husband visited his office and really appreciated he concern and care. He speaks English so that was a plus for us! He makes house calls too and is well respected. The Dr. visit and medicine cost under $40 U.S.

We were worried because we didn’t receive an email with our covid results and our flight was leaving that day. We called Dr Jose and he immediately started working to figure out what happened. He sent us our covid tests right away and was so helpful!!

Great spot for antigen and PCR testing for Covid returns. Super friendly staff. Fast results, prioritized in order of flight time. Come the day before your flight to avoid any issue.

Good guy, capable, professional , kind. - dont believe the ambulance drivers in town centre when they say there us no doctor in town . they work for an expensive private hospital nearby and are basically salesmen.
