Rancho El Jaguar

My son and grandson visited in August and I wanted to share a fun experience. The gang at Jaguar made special arrangements (their Ranch is normally shut down during the "off-season) to accommodate us. It was a blast riding through the rain-fresh trails at a leisurely pace that allowed for photos and chats.
I refer all who ask for an ATV experience to Jaguar.

This was our 3rd ATV tour in the past 4 years in the Nuevo/Puerto Vallarta area. And the best!

The modern tour van picked us in Mezcales and later drove us all the way back to our hotel in Nuevo. Our guides Alex and Alfredo were super friendly and supportive, as they took us through the farmlands and into the mountain jungle behind Bucerias. We traveled thru dried out riverbeds and small, winding mountain trails. Often riding past the local cows hiding out in the shade. The equipment (ATVs) were powerful and modern. We had only 2 singles and 1 double, along with the the guides at the front and back.

Alex often zoomed ahead and took our photos as we passed, which he later sent to us via email, at no charge.

Later, we were served a fantastic lunch at “The Ranch House”. This was an $18 option which we all enjoyed, and included beer and multiple samples of the special Jaguar tequila, straight up or sweet flavored coffee, almond and cappuccino. The music and an impromptu salsa lesson were a lot of fun too!

We all really enjoyed the afternoon and the tour. Gracias amigos!

This is an extraordinary experience. You’re basically in the middle of the jungle. You don’t have to be an expert and even in the most difficult parts you feel safe. At the end of the tour you have a choice to have one of the most delicious burgers I have taste coming from a brick and wood oven. All the crew is great. You must try it!

This place is literally in the middle of nowhere. My fiance and I went on an excursion just outside this restaurant a couple years back and I'm just finding it on the map now. We were the only ones on this excursion and while the journey to get here was concerning (small muddy dirt roads and a gate they close behind you), this was a beautiful place. The food was great, they had tequila tasting (the mango tequila was delicious) and the workers here were very friendly. If you get the chance to go out here I recommend it.

My husband and I did the adventure today. our tour guide was very good at explaining things including plants and trees. Then we went to the ranch and had a beautiful a lunch. The food was so authentic. Watch them make the guacamole. Then we had tequila tasting. That was so good. We bought some to take home. I highly recommend this adventure.

10 of us took this trip just two days ago not knowing what to expect! They accommodated perfectly from start to finish. They picked our large group up from our villa took us to the ranch, the ride there was entertaining itself to say the least! For those worried about how deep they take.u into jungle don't be alarmed it is completely worth it! We had an amazing time and the food they cooked for us all to sit and eat after ride was absolutely phenomenal! Would have to say one of the best and most personable excursions ever! Highly recommend and the owner is a great guy who goes out of his way before and after to ensure your experience is the best possible.

Beautiful location for ATV ride through the jungle. we had a great time and had no experience prior. Well off the beaten path and wild, even though not that far away from town, great views. Very friendly staff at every step, picked us up right on time. We plan to return for some of the other activities they offer hiking or horses or biking.

To start off.. our tour guide was Hugo. We went as a family and it was a total of 7. We were greeted with a smile and Hugo and his staffs energy did not change. The entire xtreme jaguar crew was amazing. The ATV are new and automatic, so driving them was a blast! The route was really nice, we were able to take pictures high in the mountains.
Drink lots of water and use the restroom before you start! When we got to ‘el mirador’ I did not feel well due to the heat but Hugo and his staff were very helpful in helping me feel better by providing me comfort and water.
It was a great experience and recommend anyone to go!

La experiencia en este lugar es increible, tuve el gusto de asistir con mi pareja. y pues inigualable. El escenario precioso e impecable, el guia muy profesional y educado. La comida excelente, no espera tambien tener un deleite gastronomico. Se nota la amplia organizacion y el grancuidado al detalle. El eprsonal te hace sentir muy seguro y son muy amables. Puedes apreciar desde arañas patonas, hasta cactus ancestrales(tomamos la fortuna de encontrarnos con uno de 150 años). Un excelente paquete y a un precio muy competitivo apra lo ofrecido, seria muy dificil encontrar una experience con ese calibre a ese rpecio en la bahia.
