John and his team at The Car Doctor Bucerías get an “A Plus” from me for service, courtesy and workmanship. The caring manner in which they handled a recent crisis is an example of what you can expect from this shop. It happens that parts for our particular model are not widely available in this part of Mexico, but John makes it his business to find the part and get it to his shop at the lowest possible cost to his clients. While everyone makes mistakes, the folks at the Car Doctor readily identify problems and their warranty means a great deal to them, and subsequently to the client. Friendly shop, great service. Highly recommended.

I've been to several car mechanics in Mezcales and Buscerías and I will only bring my car to the car doctor. They have very good prices and the people who work here are great.

Great prices, English speaking mechanics and fair assessments. I keep bringing my Volvo back to them because they are honest and knowledgeable. Other mechanics locally have given me a list of parts and issues that Car Doctor does not always agree with and have found a simpler solution. It’s great to have a mechanic I can trust.

I brought the vehicle in as it was running rough. Chon and crew were quick to do the repairs at a reasonable price. It looks like a busy shop. I phoned for an appointment and was scheduled two days later. I brought the vehicle in and got it back at the time promised for the agreed on price. There was other work required as there was an issue with the drivers side window. I was taken to a glass shop about ten minutes away and was well looked after at that place as well, again at a reasonable price, and felt the work was professionally done.

My Jetta diesel required the particulate filter cleaned. After two failed attempts to follow owner's manual instructions we took it to The Car Doctor. Chon took care of it for us and his estimate was very fair. We appreciate his honesty and expertise. I've already referred him to friend and would highly recommend The Car Doctor to anyone requiring an honest and fair mechanic shop.

Called the garage at 8:00 talk to Chon who speaks perfect English. Got my car towed on a flat bed from Gruas D Cache SA de CV. After talking 5 minutes with Chon he new exactly what to do with that white blue smoke .. got my car at 16:00 same day.. Chon really impressed me for his mechanics knowledge. The price was more then fair. I recommend this garage strongly.

The owner does a good business here; he stays busy. Still, he got my old beater van in on short notice and replaced ball joints and shock absorbers (an involved process due to the rust in the undercarriage). Very professional communication. They speak excellent English.

Farmacias Similares has just about everything at a good price. Don't be put off by the name- they're valid generics. Since 2010 Mexico drugs are only in 2 classes - generic with tested bioavailability and brand name. Before 2010 there was another class - similares ' which was z generic but bioavailability not tested. Farmacia Similares used to sell those drugs but since 2010 they have sold only the approved generics.
