Grand Isla Navidad Golf & Spa Resort with Marina

This is a beautiful hotel with lots of charm and character. The food was top-notch and well presented.
We were there for Valentine's Day and really enjoyed our candel lit dinner at Antonio's. Food and atmosphere was great. The staff is what made the difference for us. They were friendly and attentive. Many thanks to Felipe who checked us in and out. Great customer service.
We will return in the future.

We returned for a night to celebrate our 10th anniversary since having our wedding here. We were given a complimentary upgrade to suite the same as we had for our wedding which was a very nice treat. Great service and an overall really nice place to stay!

Alejandro at the front desk was super helpful and upgraded our room to suit our accommodations! Cold towels as you walk in, as well as a nice cold beverage was a nice touch to add to the experience. Pool and private beach was nice. Rooms were nice. Some things could use some remodeling but overall we enjoyed our time. Definitely looking to stay here again!!

The marina is our favorite in Mexico, so far. The hotel is a little run down, but still quite nice. Service is excellent throughout. The food and drinks at the pool restaurant are very good. Antonio’s restaurant is quite good, and its Tequila Bar has the best selection in the greater area. The lobby bar also has sushi which is very good.

Beautiful hotel, great pools in the outside. Our kids played for hours. We enjoyed beverages and great food. The pool bar mixes great drinks. Bathrooms are clean and rooms are great! Definitely returning!

LOVED!!!!! Definitely Staying there again in the near future also loved the staff there!! So friendly and just great down side my sister kicked a rock and needed stitches but the doctor was great even making her laugh during the stitches the staff helped with the wheelchair and even piggybacked her down the stairs when needed loved. Also loved that you only have wifi in halls and lobby because I went on vacation to spend time with my family and that totally helped! And Orlando was so friendly just love!!! You’ll love it too if you Choose your stay at the grand Isla hotel!

Stunning and grand hotel with lots of places to explore. Amazing pools, free yoga & tons of activities offered. Three restaurants on site with some of the best food around. The breakfast chiliquiles was my go-to and the service everywhere is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Lots of people to meet with marina on site and boaters coming through. It’s an easy & cheap water taxi ride to town. I’d recommend taking the less expensive and shorter ride to Barra then the water taxi. What a cool way to arrive. Hikes around the property with sunset views and they’ll give you a ride to secret beach. Going to put this one on my list for every Mexico visit.

This place is a gem. The hotel and site are so beautiful and keep a wonderful and relaxed environment. Direct flights from Calgary arrive daily only an hour down the road. Mingling with locals, other Canadians, and others was great. Super place, super people. Look up the history of the nearby church, the historic colonial shipyard and buccaneer stories, and the launch site for the armada's Pacific expeditions to the Philippines. There's also a world class 27 hole golf course and fishing expeditions. It's really a great place to relax. Alex P ;).

I was flown here by a client and I cannot wait to return to shoot a destination wedding here! The food, the people, the landscape and overall experience was good.
**** I did have 2 different pairs of shoes stolen out of my room. There were amazing shoes and I hope that whom ever has them, loves them.
Things come and go but experiences and rising above lasts forever.

I will recommend this resort ,it was a great place to in joy our anniversary ; everything was clean,and the service was espetacular ,! For sure will be back in few months with family and friends ,!

What an Amazing resort. Fresh pool. Three of them. Staff is Very Friendly and Helpful. If you have come by Boat run around the outside and check out the Ship that sunk years ago. A Must See. Lots of things to do here. Golfing. Hiking. And just relaxing by the Pool. Sv Rhiannon ❤☮🌎

If the hotel staff is anything like the marina staff, this has to be the best place to stay. The resort is gorgeous with gorgeous views. Everyone I have met on the property is top notch. The marina staff are some of the best. I work as a yacht delivery captain, so I see countless to which I can compare. I will stop here every time.

Very large modern hotel complex with adjacent marina. It is the marina I am staying in so I can't speak to the rooms but the docks, while showing some signs of poor maintenance are perfectly adequate. Moorage includes access to the very nice pool complex and shower facilities - free towels. The WiFi is fast enough for streaming and also free. Very helpful, mostly English speaking, staff. There is a small store and a couple of restaurants. Access to the town is via water taxi.

Front desk greetings were very nice,Deluxe Accomodations,Atmosphere were wonderful.BAR service in the LOBBY BAR with SERGIO was great a real gentleman.The food in all restrurants was wonderful especially at ANTONIO'S WITH OUR SERVER JAVIER ,very polite.and the Guitar player was an extra treat very appreciated

Excellent hurricane hole. Avoid pancho the hustler and myriam in the marina office. Isabel is a good honest hard worker. Port captain a great guy too. Don't tell anyone how good this place is otherwise it will br ruined.... Oh wait..

They make everything to make us feel welcome, thanks to the chef and the staff they took so much care of us and give us a vegan menu, they makes us feel pampered

The rooms are spacious. The pool area is absolutely lovely as you can see from the photos I posted. There is no actual beach right at the hotel except on Laguna navidad and I wouldn't swim in the lagoon but I'm a pool swimmer anyway so I don't care that there's no swimming beach right at the hotel.

I signed up for the complimentary breakfast package and I it was good I just just had it this morning. When we were here in January with a friend he and I ate dinner in Antonio's fine dining restaurant downstairs. The service was exquisite the room is beautiful but the food mediocre. My friend is a chef and and I'm a foodie and the food wasn't special there are much better restaurants over in Barra de Navidad.

Aside from that as far as I'm concerned this is the best hotel in the Barra de Navidad / Melaque area. I never go to Melaque because I don't like it there. It's dirty, squalid little town, but Barra is a sweet little town and it's a 2-minute water taxi ride from the dock at the hotel.

A Yacht Club, Villas and Hotel. My last stayed was simply delicious. I went with my Kids and we had a wonderful week vacation, with their private beaches, warm weather and it's many turquoise pools and gardens.

A gran venue for Events, hosts several ball rooms and three restaurants.

Their Gold Course seems to be in constant repair, it definitely saw better days, I hope they bring it's splendor back to life again.

You can move freely from the resort to Barra de Navidad and Melaque small towns accessible by boat taxi or your own transportation by road.
