Tiendita Verde

All fresh and delicious! We were very impressed with this place. The patio is beautiful and it was nice to be able to seat in open air amid Covid. We loved the food, very creative recipes with fresh ingredients. Tried the Avocado Gazpacho, the sardines tacos, and the Trout. Everything was cooked to perfection! Favorite restaurant in Pátzcuaro and reasonable prices.

Tiendita Verde also has a store of organic treasures to purchase. Three-layered carrot cake, with lots of delicate carrot pieces, pecan pieces and tender raisins under a sumptuous cream cheese frosting. Best Carrot cake ever anywhere !
Organic jellies and marmalades: cherries and berries, blackberry with rosemary and salvia, strawberry , and more.
Their bakery chef also has organic white wheat bread that is firm yet light to the bite, and many other breads as well. Organic eggs and produce, sweeteners and teas, are "great prices for great food".

Tiendita Verde is truly an enjoyable start to your day.  Sit in the garden and take in the lush green surroundings.  A three-tier fountain provides a soothing splash along with the soft jazz played overhead.  Dogs are welcome (please respect others by keeping them leashed and interactions with other dogs to a minimum - one lady let her dog crawl all over ours and even eat the food we laid out for him).

The service staff is kind and friendly being ready to help make you feel welcomed and comfortable.  The reasonably priced menu offers a good array of breakfast options.  Lunch and early dinner are also offered, however, we only came for breakfast.  The first day I had the smoked trout omelet.  It’s a recommendation.  The second day I ask the waiter to bring me breakfast.  Not sure what I had but it was eggs and chicken in a red salsa, very good.  The coffee is tasty.  The orange juice is freshly squeezed and is offered by the glass or in a pitcher.

There is an upstairs seating area, indoor area, and outdoor tables.  The entire place gives you the feeling you are vacationing in a resort.  There is a small room offering many health and beauty products.  Organic food from eggs to papaya is also for sale along with jarred jams and salsas.

Gorgeous restaurant and shop specialized in natural cuisine near the city center of Pátzcuaro. We stopped to grab a natural juice that was exquisite at a very good price. They also sell organic food, beverages, and skincare products mostly plastic-free. Their garden is pure magic.

Tasty organic foods in a beautiful garden setting. Do try the fresh juices! My apple-cucumber-mint juice was delicious and refreshing, especially alongside my pesto pasta.

Delicious coffee (30-50 pesos), gorgeous space with seating indoors and outdoors in a garden patio. They have a small shop attached selling all manner of organic / green products from vegan milk, eco friendly bar soaps and shampoos, biodegradable plates and straws, even products for pets. The staff was very helpful too.

An amazing place. We were a group of 12 and had brunch in the upstairs part. The service was a little un together but the food was so good we forgave them.

An excellent location and restaurant. You will be surrounded by nature and the building itself is part of the landscape. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is prompt and attentive. Highly recommended. We ordered the Serrano omelette and the tortillas enfrijolados. Both were delicious.

Incredibly beautiful Eco store that includes a full kitchen/restaurant, and an organic shop with everything from shampoos and lotions, to meats, cheeses, vegetables, coffee and gifts. The food is fresh and great! The staff are incredibly friendly. The grounds are amazingly beautiful. Highly recommended.

Tiendita Verde is actually a restaurant in the entrance region of Patzcuaro. The place is very quite and large, the staff is reasonably friendly, the place looks clean with healthy food. Prices are decent. It appears that the place is quite popular in the area. It is "Tiendita," too, since you can buy cheeses, local art, etc.

Wonderful place. Almost magic by design. Healthy and tasty food options. Surrounded by nature. Unique experience. Organics. You can eat anything there and be happy. Good coffee.
