I was recommended this restaurant by some coworkers. Let me tell you that the food here was so good. Just like mom used to make. 🥲 I had the flaunts. The server brought us chips and along with the salsa bar!!! I could just eat these all day. The highlight is the Salva bar and varieties. The green salsa tastes home made. I had all of them and was sweating from spiciness, but I just kept going. If you want true authentic Mexican food, this has to be your destination. I recommend this place.

This place is always always packed and I’ve seen lines out the door. I will say that in the past couple years, the flautas that have gotten much smaller.! Still great flautas ! Best in town

So far the best Mexican Tacos and Flautas I have eaten in El Paso! The food and service here is amazing! We ordered their famous flautas and Beef Tacos Alambre and it was very good! A must visit for Mexican food lovers.

Such an experience as this cantina. Casual and easy. Open almost till morning every day so that’s amazing.
The salsa bar is very good with alot of options.
I tried all dishes available in beef and every dish was authentic and well made.
Plenty of parking.
The night security is an amazing person who greets you in such a nice way at the entrance, i was gonna tip him well but I was not sure if it’s okay in this culture anyway I will tip him next time regardless.

We were visiting El Paso, and a friend brought us here for authentic Mexican food.

It was great. My wife tried the flautas and loved them. My quesadilla was great. The portions were huge.

The food is really good. Super cheap and the place was really clean when I visited. They only sell meat such as Alambre and pastor. In my case we went there for breakfast and I about 1 hour later a lot of people started to fill in the place so I recommend that if you’re planing to go eat to go early.

It was Delish!!! Especially enjoy the fact that they stay open late. Now a days can't find anything open at night. I had the flautas today. Everything is delicious 😋

The food was super good, I had the flautas plate . They have very fast service , waiting time for our food was less than 10 minutes.

Food is always good. I used to really like their flautas when they 1st established here in El Paso then they got greedy with the sour cream. Still one of our go to spot. It's always a fun late night food and people watch 🤣

The food never disappoints. We placed an order that took longer than expected, and the main waiter ( wearing black waiter attire ) attended my order and offered me 3 free lemonade cups while we waited for our order, great service on that action and perhaps the best service I've received locally so far. I don't blame them for taking long on our order as they were at full capacity with customers coming in. But the fact that this waiter gave me the lemonade for us waiting is a plus with that service.
It's definitely the best food and service I've had.

My job catered from El Cometa and I have to say it was the best flautas I’ve had in a long time! I’ll definitely be visiting this place soon!

Late night food runs, means cometa is up first, just be aware you'll have the the runs the next day too, but it will be worth it, just like the hangover you'll have with it

Your best options are tacos de alambre or the flautas. Aguas are so refreshing too. Delicious fixings with chips.

The flautas and pepper & onion steak tacos are amazing. There was a very long line to get in and another developed while we were sitting which is a sign the food here is very good.

Best authentic Mexican flautas and salsa bar in El Paso! Their flautas have the perfect crunch and they use authentic queso freso with unlimited guac! I also love their homemade tostadas aka “totopos” they serve prior with a variety of salsas to choose from. I’ve had their gringas (picture not shown) & those quesadillas are super cheesy and good too.

Food was great, a little loud inside so it is great for families. All the meals are around $7-9. Food was great and not greasy at all. Line was to the door when we walked in but it moved quickly.

Best Flautas around! Great little condiment bar to add more deliciousness! Don't miss out on the lemonade!
