Lucy's is usually a fun place to have drinks and enjoy the variety of music offered most nights. Always a fun crowd of mostly snowbirds and expats. Lucy is one of a kind and makes the best margarita!

Exelente musica y exelente servicio

Lucy is in this tiny beach town for a few months of the year. She cleans up for a few months on Canadians and then heads back to Alabama or Georgia or similar environs. She’s been here for a good long time, but over the three years I’ve gotten to observe and note her behavior and she one tricky lady. I came by her place one afternoon early in the season (maybe March) expecting her to be closed, but there were a bunch of people I knew working on the place. I was so happy to see them and then Lucy looked at me with daggers in her eyes. I was so confused. Kathy said, “you’re not wearing a mask.” I said, “neither are you.” She told me Lucy’s brother had just died of Covid. Is this my fault?” I’ll never frequent that place again. She’s yet another American taking advantage of this area and no one even knows it. Lucy—you’ve got a lot of competition now. I’ll be going elsewhere and I’m sure so will the musicians who will get paid cash money from the house besides their tips.
