My husband Michael and myself are ever so grateful for the amazing care and expertise that surgeon Doctor Gustavo Navarro Cueva performed on my husband Mike. We came to this clinic and Mike was in so much back pain and this doctor after seeing his MRI knew exactly what to do to get Mike out of this tremendous pain. He had a fractured L2. The surgery was successful, and the doctor was very pleased with the outcome and seeing my husband out of this intense pain is like a miracle. We are so extremely grateful for how Doctor Navarro was able to help my husband in this time of need. The surgery happened almost immediately. We are from Canada, and the care didn’t stop at this hospital, but Doctor Navarro continues to care and communicate with us for any questions we may encounter. His kindness and expertise comforts us, even from the distance of countries. We would recommend this clinic and especially this doctor to anyone. My husband had back pain and pain radiating down his leg to his foot. Dr. Navarro and his team performed spinal fusion surgery in February and a day later he was up walking - pain free. The care and service has been exceptional. His prompt replies to questions or concerns was above and beyond and still is. We would recommend Dr. Navarro 100%.

When it comes to surgery Dr. Navarro takes his time making sure that you fully understand what the problem is, and what array of solutions you can consider. When I met him with a herniated disc in my lower spine, he took a battery of scans. He made certain that I was comfortable with his recommendations, he truly made himself available at any time, and he calmly answered my many questions by sending photos and scans to my phone to help me and my wife fully understand how to best treat my injury. He respects the patient and their choices. He is a professional obviously, but his patience to make sure I understood exactly what my options are persuaded me to choose him as my back surgeon. He operated the herniated disk, and 3 years later I am still pain free and without complications. Even months and years afterward he followed up inquiring if my back is still OK, he wants to be the best surgeon in his field and that is obvious. Thank you Dr. Navarro!

Mi experiencia específicamente con el "doctor" Gustavo Navarro Cueva fué la más lamentable. Ingresé al hospital CMQ en Bucerías por una hernia de disco, según el por mi anatomía necesitaba una fusión lumbar y de esta manera "no volvería a sentir dolor" confié en él sin pedir ninguna otra opinión. La cirugía resultó tal fiasco que ya no podía caminar ni dormir de los dolores horribles que experimentaba, inventó que un pedazo de hernia había quedado "atrapada" cuando en realidad todo el material que me puso para la "fusión lumbar" (que no era necesaria en lo absoluto) estuvo terriblemente hecha. Después de visitar otros especialistas caí en cuenta que manipuló toda la información por su falta de experiencia. A mis 47 años, siendo una mujer que hacía ejercicio, comía bien y en perfecta salud, el "doctor" Navarro me hizo pasar los peores momentos de miedo e incertidumbre al no poder caminar estando con un dolor insoportable y medicada para poder funcionar. Necesité dos cirugías más para arreglar sus graves errores y volver a ponerme de pie. Dejo este comentario con la única finalidad que pidan segundas opiniones ya que Gustavo Navarro Cueva no es un médico confiable.
