Rancho La Mesa

You can't go wrong here! The views are "off-the-chart" and the good is very good. Service was fast and pleasant and they all looked good with their clean white shirts and black pants.

The guacamole is more like chips with a whole avocado but was delicious in it's simplicity. The chips were fresh. Streaks were done nicely and in particular the chimichuri was very tasty, even better than the steak. The fries were late to the party but fresh and hot when they showed up. The spinach though, that stuff was woohoo!

Go. You'll be glad.

We ordered a Mexican Platter of Carnitas for our visiting family member. She loved the authentic and flavorful food that was delivered quickly to our home.

We used the RV facilities, 30 Amp electric, water and sewer. Other than low water pressure, the RV Park is incredible. Restaurant is excellent.

Loved this place and the views are amazing! The drive up was a little confusing, but once we arrived, it was sooo worth it. This restaurant looks out over the lake and mountains. The food was good and the service was wonderful. Definitely go!

We ate at the restaurant. Did not stay over night. From the ostrich burger to the quesadilla's to the salmon, everything was delicious. The service was great too.

Stayed in RV here for about a month. Clean, friendly staff, beautiful views, HOT shower, animals on property (dogs and puppies, horses, donkeys, geese, chickens), our kids loved it! Overall a way better fit for us than the other RV park in town. Thank you! We look forward to visiting again.

The view of this place is better than the food. Just to be clear the food is not bad, is quite good actually. But the view is greatly outstanding.

Rancho La Mesa has also a campground.
With our truckcamper we were on the field and had a good diner at the restaurant.

Second time here. Went here for the second time because of the good experience.
- Full hookup for a fair price.
- Our dog could run over the whole field.
- You can walk in to town, go back by
collectivo or taxi.
- Beautifull vieuw over the lake & town.

Great view of lake and lovely view of community at night. Easy access to smaller villages to see copper artisians at work. Great carpentry work! Really enjoyed spending time here

Stunning views, good food and service. Always worth visiting. Does not accept reservations, though. It may be very busy on weekends.

Great food and service with a spectacular view of Patzcuaro and Janitzo. A bit tricky to get to from downtown but worth the bumpy roads!
