Cenote Canunchen

A nice large underground cenote! The water is very deep so it is cold. They DO NOT have a ROPE SWING anymore! They removed it awhile back so NO ROPE SWING don’t expect that. They also have a time limit on how long you can stay, but it was long enough. (about 1.5 hours) You have to wear your life vests at all times while swimming.

What I personally enjoyed about this cenote was the various jumping platforms. There’s 2 decent sized ones on the main platform. They also even have an extra high jumping area on the first deck platform after walking down to the underground portion of the stairs. I would come back to this cenote just for that!

Great place, with a few different platforms to jump into this cenote, we were lucky and had the whole place to ourselves when we were there.

This was one of our favorite because the place is very well and nice decorated and constructed, it's a concept. They charge $100 pesos per person with life vest included. The lodge is amazing it has several palapas, to eat, rest and nap in a hamac. They have a nice pool with two slides and it was great spot to finish the day. The cenote is enclosed but it is amazing, it has 3 platforms to dive into the cenote and the whole family had a blast. Me the mom got brave and jumped from the tallest one, I recommend to just go for it. This was the only cenote with more than 10 persons but it helped because we all cheered each other and made some friends 🙂

Cenote Canunchen is one of my teenage kids favorite with two jumping options one with a rope. $100 pesos per person.

Our first cenote & we loved it! The cenote is wide enough to hold many people. It seems to be quite a popular one. Locals cheering others on when they jump from the higher platform.
It's fun & they can be both sweet & funny. There's also a rope to swing into the water. Do take off anything that can easily slide off before jumping off the higher platform. Two people lost things when we were there. They require life jackets which come with the entrance fee of Mxn$50, & also to take a shower. The showers & toilets are kept very clean. No food & drinks allowed but there are snacks sold. Only thing is many of the workers don't look at all happy.

This cenote has a rope swing and multiple jumping platforms. This was definitely the kids' favorite of the day. We went pretty early and had the place to ourselves, but it quickly filled up as it got closer to the afternoon.

Canunche is a medium sized, gorgeous cenote for several people to swim in at the same time. Good bathrooms with running water to wash hands and soap provided. Also changing rooms. Some snacks available for purchase. There's a restaurant too but we didn't see anyone eating there. Interesting grounds to explore as well. Highly recommend stopping by this cenote along with several others nearby - Santa Lucia, Hool Kosom, even Balmil is worth exploring!

Bonito cenote, casi no va mucha gente lo que hace que se pueda disfrutar mejor.

Cenote precioso, excelente para nadar y relajarse. Tiene una cuerda y una plataforma para lanzarte y agregar diversión a la experiencia. Cuenta con baños, regaderas y mesas para comer ahí. La entrada cuesta $50 más tu chaleco salvavidas.

Die beste Cenote unserer Reise. Anscheinend noch nicht lange geöffnet. Preis im Oktober 2022 sind 50$. Schwimmweste ist inkl. und leider auch Pflicht sie zu tragen.

Un lugar recomendable para visitar, además que se ayuda a la economía local, se divierte y goza uno de las maravillas de este lugar

Es un lugar muy bonito, lo están acondicionado muy padre, el cenote es grande, tiene una area para que hagas clavados, es seguro, te dicen que portes tu chaleco y me encanto que protegieron las raíces del Álamo

Es un lugar limpio con baños, palapas, se puede introducir alimentos, hay alberca la entrada cuesta 100 pesos

Cuesta 100 pesos por persona, hay alberca y un cenote hermoso, es muy muy buena opción.

Excelente lugar para pasar un rato agradable, el cenote es espectacular se puede nadar perfectamente o aventarse unos buenos clavados.
