Very beautiful beach with shaded area. There are swings you can just sit and chill there without worry of being in direct sunlight even going before sunset. Downside is you need to walk a bit to get to the beach area but it's worth it.

Breathtakingly lovely. Everyone enjoying Sarurday evening sunset. Nice atmosphere. Further down is another nice place to see the sunset. 1km hike to chinese temple was nice too. Sensibly there is a notice to say many people get lost if you go up higher into the jungle. So be very careful

Best place for enjoying sunset view. You can park your car at the entrance and need to walk up the hills to reach the beach. Its worth every sweat! Make sure to wear properly for the little walking(hiking) as i wore jean and it was really uncomfortable. You can bring your mat or chair on even just sitting on the rock. No need to pay for the entrance but if you want to use the buggy car you need to pay for it. Otherwise just walk up a bit and you will reach the beach.

Lovely sceneries. Better prepare yourself for a hiking trip to get here though. There's also a transporter to get you up but from some point, you'll have to walk by yourself anyway
Would come again someday. Beautiful place to relief stress

No entrance fee.
Easy trail of 15 min to reach the beach, another 20 min to reach the temple. These two trail are easier and suitable for children and elderly.
The advance trail will be rainbow stone and Japanese bunker. The road are more slipper, require stick, not suitable after a rainy day. Not many people know these trails, better follow the local poeple. No visible trail.
The other activities: ATV ride extreme Rm80 for 1.5 hours. ATV ride family is RM100 with driver. Horse ride Rm20 per person.
Food: only coconut water or juice avaible. Better bring own snacks and food.
Toilet only can find near the Chinese temple. Beach side no toilet.

If you are planning for a getaway on weekends you might enjoy the ATV Pantai Esen, it can a bit extreme because of the route but it’s still fun and safe . Should try if you are in Penang

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get an experience playing ATV. Nice view, good experience. For me, the price for the Atv package was reasonable plus they provided us with the vids and image. Abang abang yang handle pun baikk

We decided to bring the kids on the day itself and I Watsapp them slightly before noon.
They replied 1-2 hours later and confirmed our slot. We took the last slot. It was so fun for the kids and adults! Highly recommended!
It was easy to grab to and fro. And they took great photos and videos throughout the ride.
This was one of the highlights of our trip.

A great location for entry level hiking route. Walk along the seaside until the temple. After the temple still can continue to hike but it may take longer time to complete the route. This round i bring my daughter 18 months old walk together so decided for a short walk. Very nice scenery view in the temple area, definitely will come again.

This quad tour was one of the funniest and greatest experiences ever.
From the first contact to the last minute we felt in good hands. The staff cares very much about everyone's safety. It was overall very safe and at the same time incredibly adventurous and a real adrenaline rush. The nature is breathtaking. Worth every penny. Can only recommend it from the bottom of my heart. Thanks again to everyone and we will be back sometime :)

Nice little hidden gem. close to the islands airport. There is the “ATV extreme pantai esen” which has takes groups out for a hardy guides ATV trip up the hill and along the beach. There is also a milder ATV outing for those looking for something less extreme. The guides also take some awesome pics for you! Best book early.

Beautiful sunset beach. Park your car around the field, walk less than 1 km thru nice and clean trail road to the beach. Do watch out the motorcycle coming behind you, there are plenty of them. We have seen some were playing ATV along the trail and on the beach, would be nice to try out someday.

Nice beach, few hiking spots

Such a nice place to spend the weekend with friends or family. The track to get tue beach is easy to walk even if bring kids or toddlers. However, the beach is not allowed to swim. I would recommend to bring along some food and snacks.

Easy track to this hidden gem, a very peaceful and clean beach and I hope it maintains that way so please leave nothing behind except your footprints. The water are among the clearest in Penang and there are quite many sea shells and barnacles on the rocks.

Very nice beach and trekking route. The route next to the beach is not so clean but not so bad. Had many shade to hide from the sunny weather of Penang. Great to bring your kids to play with sand but should not swim. I saw some sign mentioned dangerous stream and do not swim.
