Hotel Seri Malaysia Penang

Our favorite go-to hotel when we have water supply disruption as it ia very near to us. So far, the rooms we got were good. Staff very accomodating, location is great. More importantly, parking was never a hassle. Would be great if the management can consider to refurbish to change the atmosphere a bit.

Myself & my family have been staying in Hotel Seri Malaysia Penang for 2 yrs already.we found Mr Santhanam the manager of this hotel gave Excellent Service to us. He is very kind,friendly,compassionate & helpful especially when my sister is not in the best of health. Because of his Personality, Excellent leadership & management skills,all the staff are alsi friendly,kind & helpful. He personalised his service & care to each client staying in this hotel

Staying for 4days 3night to attend training nearby. Receptionist friendly and efficient. Room come with breakfast for two. Although breakfast option not many but for me its enough as i will explore food around penang anyway. Did book room service to order food. Mee goreng mamak sedappp. Room comfortable and clean. Tilam and bantal lembut. Ambience is good. Parking is easy. Safety is good. Overall love my experience here. Thanks.

Location convenience, a lot of private parking , breakfast ok 6 type dish nasi lemak, fruit , bread. Bedroom old, mattress n pillow soft. Bathroom water pressure ok. Room with fridge. So with a price below rm 200 this is considered best.

I have been coming to this hotel sri Malaysia bayan baru for more then 25 yrs, I feel nice n homely when I'm here, The staff are nice n helpful when I need some help and also the room are keep clean and well arranged..Keep up with the good work TEAM..TQ

here is comfortable place to stay by one person trip. breakfast is so so nice and easy to access to restaurant for dinner. price also reasonable.

I recently stayed at Hotel Seri Malaysia in Penang and was impressed with my experience. The hotel is located in a convenient location, close to many of the city's attractions and amenities. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Awesome hotel! I booked for two room with single twin bed. The rooms are so clean and tidy. Recommended for business trip or family vacation.

Refrigerator, USB charging port, ironing clothes set (iron pad + iron) and room delivery food with menu are provided.

There is a pool beside cafe in hotel area. Korean mart, some restaurants, pharmacy, mosque, optician store are nearby. You can walk from the hotel to go these shops (walking distance).

Parking lot available for guest. If you book a room, you will get free breakfast for two people.

It's an old gov hotel but still okay. Breakfast spread was ok. Only the service....i checked out early due to my work has finished, but they say they will check first with their account manager if they could refund. Also my cash deposit was not returned because they say supposedly i checkout the next day. ???? What logic is this. Everytime i need to follow up, three times now, still havent got any feedback from them and my receipt. I dont mind if you couldnt refund, but my cash deposit should be returned.

We stayed in a family room (3people) and the room is worth the money. There is a swimming pool in the the middle of the hotel, open till 7pm and no specific swimming attires needed. :) in front of the hotel, you can expect some restaurants and few meters away is a hypermarket (Giant) if you need anything. The staffs are nice. The breakfast buffet is okay as well.

It is an old Hotel... But surprisingly the room is clean and the service is good.

Very spacious, airy, and light—a very welcoming environment. The hotel's personnel was exceptionally polite, helpful, and professional.

Location: Strategically located in Bayan Baru behind Sunshine market (nice local breakfast can be found).

Hotel: Ample secured parking within premise. Dated design yet clean and well maintained. Welcome drink is self-serviced. Really like the lime juice with asam boi.

Staff: Super friendly staff. Special mention to Ms Nurul and Mr Bakhtiar for their dedicated service when I was attending my workshops there in June 2020.

Food: Malay, Indian and Western selections are delicious. Highly recommend the Chocolate lava cake. It is my favourite. Chinese selection is so-so only (DO NOT order the "Tau Fu Fah" cos it is "Tau Kuah" in syrup. Perhaps staff can choose the softer tofu instead next time?).

Highly recommended because of the hotel's dedicated staff and clean confortable venue for workshop.

Nice and hygienic. The breakfast included is really good. The place might look like a puzzle and you might get lost sometimes 😅. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to penang.

My last stayed at Hotel Seri Malaysia, Bayan Lepas, Penang very comfortable. Enjoyed my stay at 2014. Restaurant food OK, fruit platters is the best. The disadvantage is when you need the room to be clean, have to inform the counter, than only room will be clean. Although near to the airport, but have to called for a taxi, and some taxi refused to come because the location is at the outskirts of town. Annie Yeap & Madam Lee 25/12/2017.
