Bukit Shahbandar Forest Recreation Park,
Brunei Darussalam.

Located 15 kilometers from Bandar Seri Begawan, it covers an area of 234 hectares.

It has a number of beautiful spots worth visiting. Complementing the natural Kerangas Forest are stands of Caribbean Pine and Acacia Mangium trees planted almost twenty years ago.

Bukit Shahbandar Forest Recreation is one of the best sports for spending time with families and your children's.
Mother Nature is the ultimate inspiration. When you're feeling sluggish, simply walking around the forest and getting fresh air can do wonders for your mood and outlook. Often, nature's beauty can take your breath (and words) away.

Had an enjoyable couple of hours hiking through the area. Trail was quite easy to follow and was a mild challenge. Felt safe. Highly reccomend if in the area or visiting Jerudong / the Empire Hotel.

Nice hiking recreation park, wide parking area, praying room, toilets and has kids playground.
On the hiking track visitors can find tropical pitcher plant, monkeys, many shelters (pondok), clear track direction.

splendid place to go for a hike or leisure on the weekends. routes are catered for all ages and groups as it ranges from as short as 1km to 10km for the extended trails which is closed off unless you have company who have ventured through them. it is advisable to carry water with you to always be hydrated as the longer trails may be a challenge for some.

Good hiking. Parking is and facilities are good too. Bring your phone if you go hiking, the maps inside the park can be confusing. Nearly ask the routes are quite tough. Bring drinks and sensible clothing

Nice place for hiking,running,walking and mountain bike.

Challenging paths but there are also easier trails. A number of people love to hike in the late afternoons. However be aware of the wild monkeys around.

Great place for short hiking & walking trails.

If you opting for the 6/9 Hills trail suggest to carry some water or drink plenty before you start. 9 Hills trail can take upto 1~1.5 hrs depending on your speed.

Carry smart phone for directions and if lost head 'North' as main road & exit are towards north side. Don't start after 5pm, it gets dark by 6pm in the forested area.

Great place for hiking with friends and family members. For first timers please make sure you have a company, bring your smart phone as well, getting lost while hiking is pretty common as it gets pretty dark in the forest around 6 pm

Be ready for at least 2 hrs hiking when I enter the forest...many tracking routes that may confuse u

Nice place for hiking and jogging. Make sure to bring your phone cause the place is big and be careful as well.

Nice place to do picnics, walking, mountain climbing and also they have a nice play grounds for kids

the place so beauty,evergreen..my experience i've work as a contract under JPH to cut and keep clean for 2month cause for a renew landscape..after work ed can exercise..
