Murni Camp Gopeng

Please do early book. Our team booked late and got a side which is not very comfortable and also our camp site is the rain railway. 2nd day 3 of our tent cannot be used and we has to creat a way for the rainwater to flow besides of our tent. Meanwhile on the other side, there are a place where people can build up the tent and completely safe. However our team managed to go with the flow and overcome the difficulties.

This place was suitable to near with nature. So peaceful and healing

It's a good place for family gathering. The place is so out of the world. You may found your peace at here after working relentlessly.

This murni camp is a place suitable for camping..also got homestay, dorm n chalet there..price affordable n reasonable..this camp located exactly by or beside the kampar river side..children can swim n play in the river..but be careful, some places quite deep..middle river water flow is very speedy..moving fast n strong..need to monitor children..the nice thing is, river water is very clean..can drink..trust me..but if heavy rain, pls dont go inside water..worry about the kepala air things..this camp is very beautiful, nice n the air is fresh..u can hear sound of water flowing through the rocks in the river, cengkerik singing n birds chirping..owh such a very nice momment here..SubhanAllah..hope to come again..here, a lot of activities u can go for..water rafting, hiking gua tempurung cave, water tubing, absceiling, ATV riding, jungle tracking n more fun outdoor activities including fishing..recommanded for me time..i got baung, n lampam paya ekor merah here..total 20 fishs caught here using batu hidup no 4..Alhamdulillah my rezeki..goreng makan dengan kicap panas2 mantap pak Ali..okay la for 3 days n 2 nights camp..using cengkerik only..hehehe..

The campsite is clean and spacious. The chalet also very clean. The place is suitable for family day activities. Nicely maintained and clean. Thumbs up to the friendly management. Worth staying here ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Surely will come to this place again n again.. The staff is friendly, the river is so nice, there is bbq place for campers, the rate for this place is affordable.. Please come here and experience the best campsite and chalet ever..

One of the best place at Gopeng, suitable for family camping, retreat, team building.. price super affordable.. friendly owner, got a few fruit tree, huge parking space.. cold river, clean and super cozy

Great place for family gateway. Situated besides a river amidst fruit orchard. There are gazebos for barbecues and family gathering besides the river.
For the more adventurous they can rent tents or bring their own and pay nominal rental charges for the land, there are chalets of different sizes and types for all occasions.
Don't forget to bring along mosquito repellent as there are plenty of them and their bites are not pleasent.
Great place for a family gateway, must come once.

EXCELLENT FACILITIES AND CONVENIENT FOR EVENTS

1. Multiple types of accommodation: dorms, camping lots for own tent with various sizes, chalets of various sizes. Also have like "hall" to gather for activities/eat. Suitable for events

2. Camping lots
• about 12 lots
• each lot have slightly different "features" : some have chair+ table, some have chair only, some have full bamboo view, some have an opening in between the bamboo, and one lot has a BIG TREE in it.
• Some are too rocky! My pegs were bent. So i moved to different lot (i went on weekday, only 1 other family was here)
• Almost each lot has light pole, so the whole camping site is pretty well-illuminated

3. River and water activities
• lots of rock, and “stomach" deep ( i didn't go to the other side, which looks scary)
• definitely not suitable to leave the children to play on their own. Need constant and vigilant supervision
• Tube/pelampung tayar can be rent at RM3/day. Suitable for tubing because the water is deep and quite fast
• i was informed that anyone who dropped by to picnic/swimming would have to pay RM7/person (7 years old and above)
• there are fishes at the riverbed! Bring google

4. Toilet and Shower
• 3 toilets- each comes with shower. Also lots of hooks inside
• one large "communal" showers room
• a sink
• clean and well illuminated, just looks old

5. Surau is at the end, so if you got camping lot #1, you are the furthest from surau. Separate section for muslimin and muslimat.
• surau also have plug point btw

6. Plug points are at gazebo/wakaf. So, in between multiple camping lots, there will be a gazebo. I think a gazebo has 3 plug points (at least gazebo #2 does)
• better bring extention plug, so that many devices can be charged at once
• or at least bring long charging cable because the plug point is quite high, you gonna need to put your charging devices on the chair
• the gazebo also have light

7. Barbecue
• there are bbq pit at gazebos. Bring own grill net, charcoal etc
• some camping lots have bbq pit too (ie: lot #10). Maybe the bbq pit can be moved to another lot if requested?

8. Restaurant/Gerai
• you can have breakfast nearby (nearest). There are 2 "warong" with river view!
• from Murni camp, you would come across Warong C-Nino before crossing the bridge, and another warong right after crossing the bridge (thus, the river view) - they both also open for lunch
• for lunch and dinner, warong p. ramlee @ The Kandu is also not too far away, and a proper restaurant
• also can consider Mee Kari Ami for breakfast, lunch and minum petang. This one bit further away but still in the area
• also to note, there is ONE kedai runcit nearby. You will not missed it as it has "BSN" signboard.

9. Other facilities
• water dispenser: hot and cold!
• Sinks equipped with hand wash, dish soap + sponge

10. Customer service
• front desk opens till 5.30pm
• but the staffs live next door. So if any emergency, you can knock their door
• there was a staff who went around and informed us to be careful because the water is rising (it was raining earlier and we were sitting on rocks at the riverbed)

11. Lots of cats. They are like the guardians of this place. Maybe a bonus point, maybe not 😂

12. Noise? Some people mentioned the issue of noise from the highway. Personally, if i focus on the river sound, the highway becomes background noise. It doesn’t bother me much. camping lot #8 (if im not mistaken) is in front of jeram, where the water sound is louder. Just fyi

Nice getaway and worth it, really delicious 😋 lunch post rafting.. We order for 7 people but the portions given can actually feed more than 10 people.. Got shower place and surau there. Staffs are friendly, will definitely come again later..

the place is superb for family gathering, team building, and staycations the place is well maintained and very clean, offers facilities bbq pits, toilets, chalets, prayer room for muslims, the jahang river is within the compound bbq pits are place along the river banks really enjoyed our gathering recently.

Great scenery, lots of actvities catered for camping, team building & go for fun themes.

Having a fantastic camp experience coming with the WWSC (white water summer camp) organisation!!! If you want to learn about knowledge of life through the nature, this is a good one!

For healing mood.... is nice

perfect place for outdoor sports and activities. Hospitality was great and the people too. White water rafting, caving, tubing, waterfall abseiling and hiking, they've got it all at one place, named Paddle Town, Gopeng.

Stayed here during a 3D 2N teambuilding event. First of all, the camp located just next to a river makes it very easy to enjoy the cold flow of natural river water (though the river flow is harsh especially when it rains)

Stayed in the dorm which can house 14 pax. No hot water showers and AC in the dorm.

Overall a 5 star experience

Nice kampung ambience with Sungai Kampar view. Clean toilets and good customer service.

We had an exciting weekend spent here. Clean room and environment. Friendly staff and the river was subhanallah, amazing.
