Very fresh and clean environment. We enjoyed our stay in TVRC.
Cold weather at night and warm during the day. But nvr fear, water heater and the river is available.

The road from Tambunan to Keningau climbs its way across the Crocker Range again before falling to the Keningau plain. Keningau, a bustling town in the heydays of timber boom, is a meeting place of the Dusun and Murut people. Although declining in importance, timber and sawmilling is still a significant industry. From Tambunan plains, a one-hour drive along logging road leads to the beginning of the summit trail of Mt. Trus Madi, the second highest mountain in Malaysia after Mt. Kinabalu at 2,642 metres (8,669 ft). The forest reserve around Mt. Trus Madi is home to several species of carnivorous pitcher plants, rhododendrons, Rafflesias and orchids.
