Wyndham Garden Shahzan Fraser's Hill (Formerly Shahzan Inn Fraser's Hill)

Great location, friendly staff and well maintained rooms. However, the food is average no much choices and the rooms looks nice. Wifi details not been shared by staff and need to go and ask them. Additionally, the entire hotel appears to be under renovation and patking very small area.. not easy to find parking.

From the outside it looked shady and old but luckily we got a newly renovated room equipped with modern facilities. At first, we were quite sceptical when the receptionist said if there was no fan in the room,please inform them. Entered the room,there was a fan and to our surprised,the air was nice...not too cold and not too hot. Love the fresh air, the beautiful scenery and the calmness of the surrounding. Nothing much to do,just relaxing and enjoying ourselves... The breakfast was decent and good though not too many varieties .

I have to check in late because the weather was bad when I was driving uphills. Check in was smooth, the fo girls were very helpful. Then the hotel is under renovations at the moment but I got a renovated room with gold course view. It was beautiful but the room didn’t have aircond or fan. I feel like they should provide a fan because during the day the weather is quite warm. Breakfast is included with the room paid, very convenient but choices are limited and main course is made to order. Overall I had a wonderful experience here with my family.

A few great experiences
*a log fire fireplace which was lighted in the lobby. such a welcome after our hike ended in the rain
*the dinner was well cooked and tasty. hotpot is on the menu as well as claypot dishes. great for a cold evening 17C
*our hike started early at 7am. the kitchen even accommodates to pack our breakfast ready by 6am. totally impressed.
* hot water works beautifully

if the hotel provides a bit more in terms of drying racks for wet clothes it would have made our stay 101% perfect.

9/10, we got a garden view bedroom. The place was cozy, clean room, balcony with the garden view. Bathroom with utilities, hot water was working. Well minimum maintained hotel for a short get away. We stayed 2days 1 night. Facilities were available like atm, convenient store.
Limited tv channels but there’s HBO, Discovery Channel to watch. Breakfast was delicious 😋 Overall it was a worth of stay. ❤

Lobby has a traditional atmosphere. I enjoyed exploring the photos from old time of Fraser hills and Shahzan Inn hotel. In my language (Persian) Shah means king and zan means lady. So Shahzan means lady king.

Stay for one night, check in around 4pm, room ready already. I've no comment about room, all as per advertise. Staff very friendly and polite. Price very affordable for me and their service was excellence.
Breakfast got plenty of choice too. I enjoyed my ommelette. This place just near their pusat bandar, just walk from the hotel to the clock tower, around 3-5 minutes only. Thus, got many small booth that offer many choice of snack/fast food nearby the hotel.

Fantastic and quiet place. Recommended if you just want to get out and run away from the busy city life for a few days. Bare in mind that your data connection will be affected as the 4G connections on some carriers aren't as good in these areas and unless you need to be on your phone all the time in case of emergencies, this place is great to just relax and not think about fumbling about with your electronics for a while.

The Inn itself is just so and so. It isn't the best of the best but it's good enough to just have a couple of nights in. The service is good enough and there's really nothing to complain. They also provide breakfast sessions which is a welcome addition to the Inn

This might be an old hotel but that should not be a reason to shy away. It was indeed a perfect getaway. Although the room was sparsely decorated it nevertheless was comfortable. And more importantly, privacy assured. Perhaps the biggest plus point is the hotel's location, which is just within walking distance to the town centre.

Signs of aging but maintained reasonably well

A beautiful budget hotel on picturesque hilly surrounding at Fraser's Hill. The service is good. It has free breakfast which is also very nice. The view from the hotel is magnificent especially the golf view. The hotel is built in a way that living on 3rd floor still we felt from d floor opening the balcony door because it's surrounded by hill there.

This review is for the restaurant, because we did not stay at the inn.
The servers were professional and nice, the setting in the garden is beautiful and relaxing, and the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for a pleasant meal and experience.

Friendly staff, Nice clean rooms. The restaurant has good food. The hotel is clean and there is a hub of activity around the hotel. Fraser's Hill is a good quiet retreat and the hotel is a good base for bird watching and walks.

Never been in this hotel. Just passing through because I'm heading to Pine Tree Trail entrance for hiking activity. But, this place is good. Very good. Fresh air. Mist everywhere. A nice place for short or long vacation.

Nice room and nice restaurant. The room is clean, the hotwater works great, but it needs to be improved. The food at the restaurant can be better with the price. The birdfeeder in the garden looks awesome, with sibias, laugjingtrush and barbet coming almost everyday!

The staff is friendly, including the three cats at the restaurant.

Tips for birder: take the golf view room and watch out for grey nightjar at night

Only had lunch here, but the lunch is good - you should try the vegetarian curry, so yummm. The place is quite nice - clean and not much crowd.

This is a perfect spot on a budget. Staff is friendly and accomodating and offers good food. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.
