Aba Nigeria Temple

Temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are places of the most sacred worship.
The temple is open to members of the public during a open house session when the temple is first constructed, but after it has been dedicated it is only opened to endowed members of the church. It is a house of learning and prayer.

Peaceful environment, this is one of the most beautiful places in Nigeria. The landscape looks like it is dropped from the sky, the building in the complex are well maintained with all facilities functioning as designed.
Good place to bring kids, all facilities have consideration for the physically challenged.
If visiting this environment, know that a high standard of moral conduct is expected including in dressing and grooming.

The temple is the house of the Lord. Everything in the temple points us to our Savior, Jesus Christ.

This is the 121st Temple, of the church of Jesus of latter-day saints. It's situated at Aba, Abia state Nigeria.
This is the house of the Lord, and it means a lot to my family and I. There in lies peace and joy, and saving ordinances performed for ourselves and our loved ones who has crossed over the veil.

One of the greatest blessings in my life. Is knowing that I can always be closer to our Heavenly father and Jesus Christ, by walking through this beautiful edifice, and I'm more enlightened by being more knowledgeable of them. I encourage all and hope all would be worthy to enjoy such glorious experience 😌 Amen.

Very big and wonderful edifice, first class security and management. Automated gates with 24 hours security cameras on strategic places. Beautiful landscaping with well maintained lawns with automated water sprinklers. And it's the biggest landmark in the whole area.

This place epic. The Church has a definite taste of amazing Architecture and a reasonable sense of management and aesthetics, combining contemporary art and present-day ideas relay an atmosphere for worship and prayer.

Whenever am in the temple, I feel a very strong presence of our Heavenly Father and the his mysteries are constantly revealed. I love the temple president for his spirituality.

Infact i felt elevated and a greater strength beyond my own. I know that a temple is a sacred place of worship and where the righteous runs in and is safe..... It's my place of "REFUGE"

The Aba Nigeria Temple is the 121st operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
On Saturday August 6, 2005, the day before the temple was dedicated, a celebration was held, recounting the story of the area through song and dance. LDS Church president Gordon B. Hinckley dedicated the Aba Nigeria Temple on August 7, 2005. More than 7,000 people were present for the dedication.
The Aba Nigeria Temple has a total floor area of 1,070 square metres (11,500 sq ft), two ordinance rooms, and two sealing rooms. The outer walls are made of Namibian pearl granite.
