Stena Line

Wow.. very pleasant experience from beginning to end. Managed to get €185 fare (instead of the regular €350) for myself and my campervan from HoH to Harwich. For some reason when I booked online the system didn't save the year of my DOB and I had to call Stena Line. The call was surprisingly quick, efficient and pleasant to deal with. Check in was very quick without queues as was boarding.
Was impressed with the array of services available from Teen Arcade, casino, TV area, plus a 50pax capacity cinema/€8.50pp), restaurant served a very decent fish n chips/€14. VIP lounge as well as the usual duty free and various places to lounge and chill.
The boat was very clean, well maintained and serviced. The toilets were excellent. Plenty friendly staff about to assist passengers.
Very smooth sailing.

Harwich - Hook of Holland leg.
Boarded early. Very clean cabins. Nice shower. Sailing was very calm.

Had a small but well tended area for dogs.

Would recommend as a mode to travel to Europe.

We love this ferry. Modern cabins, good food in the board restaurant and friendly staff.

We've gone 3 times now from Harwich to Hoek van Holland on the overnight ferry. It's a very comfortable trip; cabins are well equipped and clean, staff is friendly, there is entertainment on the ship and you arrive well rested and ready for your car journey.

Went has a foot passenger on the day time route from Harwich to the hook of Holland. Lucky with very calm seas in December and was very quiet on board, this staff were all very good and efficient probably the only slight negative been some of the prices are on the more expensive side £16 each for breakfast but you can keep going back for coffee etc for two hours. But a very enjoyable way to travel did see some dolphins on the way back so got to be worth five stars 🤩

every time i use this service (4+ times now) the staff have been so friendly from start to finish, on board and at check-in on both sides (hoek v holland + harwich). me and my dog are very happy taking this ferry!

Lovely boat and you get to spend the night actually making progress on your journey while sleeping comfortably. Glorious. Apart from the 5am wake-up as you dock....

It was a fantastic experience for myself. The stuff was really friendly. The food was great and the premium lounge was quiet. The cabins are clean and comfortable. My dog was in a kennel and I could go and visit her during the trip. Also could get her to a dog walk area. I'm highly satisfied with the company.

Edit: I used them again in 2022 and now you can take your dog into your cabin which makes this company more pet friendly. Highly recommend them for crossing.

Great tasty , varied food for dinner and breakfast , nice restaurant and nice atmosphere.
Regarding the cleaning in the cabins , the personal should insist more on cleaning also under the mattres.
Another thing to say is about the functionality of the utilities this also have to be checked and fixed if necessary.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience on Stena Hollandica, lovely crew, nice food in the served restaurant and a very comfortable cabin.
